أَهۡلِ
ʹAhlil
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
of the Book
وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
wal-Mushrikeena
and the polytheists
مُنفَكِّينَ
muñ-fakkeena
to be abandoned
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تَأۡتِيَهُمُ
taʹtiyahumul
(there) comes to them
ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
Bayyinah,
the clear evidence

98:2
رَسُولٞ
Rasoolum
A Messenger
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
يَتۡلُواْ
yatloo
reciting
صُحُفٗا
ṣuḥufam
pages
مُّطَهَّرَةٗ
muṭahharah,
purified
٢
98:3
فِيهَا
Feehaa
Wherein
كُتُبٞ
kutubuñ
(are) writings
قَيِّمَةٞ
q̣ayyimah.
correct
٣
98:4
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
تَفَرَّقَ
tafarraq̣al
became divided
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
were given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
until
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
what
جَآءَتۡهُمُ
jaaa-ʹathumul
came (to) them
ٱلۡبَيِّنَةُ
Bayyinah.
(of) the clear evidence
٤
98:5
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أُمِرُوٓاْ
ʹumirooo
they were commanded
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
لِيَعۡبُدُواْ
liyaʻbudul
to worship
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مُخۡلِصِينَ
mukhliṣeena
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahud
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
Deen:
(in) the religion
حُنَفَآءَ
ḥunafaaaʹa
upright
وَيُقِيمُواْ
wa-yuq̣eemuṣ
and to establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَيُؤۡتُواْ
wa-yuʹtuz
and to give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚ
Zakaata
the zakah
وَذَٰلِكَ
wa-ẓaalika
And that
دِينُ
Deenul
(is the) religion
ٱلۡقَيِّمَةِ
Q̣ayyimah.
the correct
٥
98:6
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
مِنۡ
min
from
أَهۡلِ
ʹAhlil
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Book
وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
wal-Mushrikeena
and the polytheists
فِي
fee
(will be) in
نَارِ
naari
(the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
(of) Hell
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
abiding eternally
فِيهَآۚ
feehaa.
therein
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
هُمۡ
hum
they
شَرُّ
sharrul
(are the) worst
ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ
bariyyah.
(of) the creatures
٦
98:7
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
righteous deeds
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹu-laaaʹika
those
هُمۡ
hum
they
خَيۡرُ
khayrul
(are the) best
ٱلۡبَرِيَّةِ
bariyyah.
(of) the creatures

جَزَآؤُهُمۡ
Jazaaaʹuhum
Their reward
عِندَ
ʻiñda
(is) with
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
جَنَّٰتُ
Jannaatu
Gardens
عَدۡنٖ
ʻadniñ
(of) Eternity
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flow
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
خَٰلِدِينَ
khaalideena
will abide
فِيهَآ
feehaaa
therein
أَبَدٗاۖ
ʹabadaa:
forever
رَّضِيَ
raḍiyal
(will be) pleased
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
with them
وَرَضُواْ
wa-raḍoo
and they (will be) pleased
عَنۡهُۚ
ʻanh:
with Him
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That
لِمَنۡ
liman
(is) for whoever
خَشِيَ
khashiya
feared
رَبَّهُۥ
Rabbah.
his Lord
