61:1
سَبَّحَ
Sabbaḥa
Glorifies
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
Allah
مَا
maa-
whatever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
١
61:2
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaa-ʹayyuhal
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(you) who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لِمَ
lima
Why
تَقُولُونَ
taq̣ooloona
(do) you say
مَا
maa
what
لَا
laa-
not
تَفۡعَلُونَ
tafʻaloon?
you do
٢
61:3
كَبُرَ
Kabura
Great is
مَقۡتًا
maq̣tan
hatred
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقُولُواْ
taq̣ooloo
you say
مَا
maa
what
لَا
laa-
not
تَفۡعَلُونَ
tafʻaloon.
you do
٣
61:4
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbul
loves
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يُقَٰتِلُونَ
yuq̣aatiloona
fight
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِهِۦ
Sabeelihee
His Way
صَفّٗا
ṢAFFAÑ
(in) a row
كَأَنَّهُم
kaʹannahum̃
as if they
بُنۡيَٰنٞ
bunyaanum
(were) a structure
مَّرۡصُوصٞ
marṣooṣ.
joined firmly
٤
61:5
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
لِقَوۡمِهِۦ
liq̣awmihee
to his people
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa-q̣awmi
O my people
لِمَ
lima
Why
تُؤۡذُونَنِي
tuʹẓoonanee
do you hurt me
وَقَد
wa-q̣at
while certainly
تَّعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoona
you know
أَنِّي
ʹannee
that I am
رَسُولُ
rasoolul
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
إِلَيۡكُمۡۖ
ʹilaykum?˺
to you
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
Then when
زَاغُوٓاْ
zaag̣ooo
they deviated
أَزَاغَ
ʹazaag̣al
(was caused to) deviate
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(by) Allah
قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ
q̣uloobahum.
their hearts
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmal
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
faasiq̣een.
the defiantly disobedient

61:6
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
عِيسَى
ʻEesab
Isa
ٱبۡنُ
nu
son
مَرۡيَمَ
Maryama
(of) Maryam
يَٰبَنِيٓ
yaa-Baneee
O Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I am
رَسُولُ
Rasoolul
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
إِلَيۡكُم
ʹilaykum
to you
مُّصَدِّقٗا
muṣaddiq̣al
confirming
لِّمَا
limaa
that which
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(was) between
يَدَيَّ
yadayya
my hands
مِنَ
minat
of
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ
Tawraati
the Taurat
وَمُبَشِّرَۢا
wa-Mubashshiram
and bringing glad tidings
بِرَسُولٖ
bi-Rasooliñy
(of) a Messenger
يَأۡتِي
yaʹtee
to come
مِنۢ
mim
from
بَعۡدِي
baʻdis
after me
ٱسۡمُهُۥٓ
muhooo
whose name (will be)
أَحۡمَدُۖ
ʹAhmad.˺
Ahmad
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
But when
جَآءَهُم
jaaaʹahum̃
he came to them
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-Bayyinaati
with clear proofs
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they said
هَٰذَا
Haaẓaa
This
سِحۡرٞ
Siḥrum
(is) a magic
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen.

61:7
وَمَنۡ
Wa-man
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
ʹaz̤̣lamu
(is) more wrong
مِمَّنِ
mimmanif
than (one) who
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
taraa
invents
عَلَى
ʻalal
upon
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
kaẓiba
the lie
وَهُوَ
wa-huwa
while he
يُدۡعَىٰٓ
yudʻaaa
is invited
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِۚ
ʹIslaam?
Islam
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdil
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmaz̤̣
the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
[the] wrongdoers
٧
61:8
يُرِيدُونَ
Yureedoona
They intend
لِيُطۡفِـُٔواْ
liyuṭfiʹoo
to put out
نُورَ
Nooral
(the) light
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ
biʹafwaahihim
with their mouths
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
but Allah
مُتِمُّ
mutimmu
will perfect
نُورِهِۦ
Noorihee
His Light
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
although
كَرِهَ
karihal
dislike
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
kaafiroon.
the disbelievers
٨
61:9
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَرۡسَلَ
ʹarsala
sent
رَسُولَهُۥ
Rasoolahoo
His Messenger
بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ
bil-Hudaa
with guidance
وَدِينِ
wa-Deenil
and (the) religion
ٱلۡحَقِّ
Ḥaq̣q̣i
(of) the truth
لِيُظۡهِرَهُۥ
liyuz̤̣hirahoo
to make it prevail
عَلَى
ʻalad
over
ٱلدِّينِ
deeni
the religion
كُلِّهِۦ
kullihee
all of them
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
although
كَرِهَ
karihal
dislike (it)
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ
Mushrikoon.
the polytheists
٩
61:10
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(you) who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
هَلۡ
hal
Shall
أَدُلُّكُمۡ
ʹadullukum
I guide you
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
to
تِجَٰرَةٖ
tijaaratiñ
a transaction
تُنجِيكُم
tuñjeekum
(that) will save you
مِّنۡ
min
from
عَذَابٍ
ʻAẓaabin
a punishment
أَلِيمٖ
ʹaleem?
painful
١٠
61:11
تُؤۡمِنُونَ
Tuʹminoona
Believe
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
وَتُجَٰهِدُونَ
wa-tujaahidoona
and strive
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
بِأَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ
biʹamwaalikum
with your wealth
وَأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ
wa-ʹañfusikum:
and your lives
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
ẓaalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon!
know
١١
61:12
يَغۡفِرۡ
Yag̣fir
He will forgive
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
ذُنُوبَكُمۡ
ẓunoobakum
your sins
وَيُدۡخِلۡكُمۡ
wa-yudkhilkum
and admit you
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
(in) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flow
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
وَمَسَٰكِنَ
wa-masaakina
and dwellings
طَيِّبَةٗ
ṭayyibatañ
pleasant
فِي
fee
in
جَنَّٰتِ
Jannaati
Gardens
عَدۡنٖۚ
ʻAdn:
(of) Eternity
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalikal
That
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ
Fawzul
(is) the success
ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
ʻaz̤̣eem.
the great
١٢
61:13
وَأُخۡرَىٰ
Wa-ʹukhraa
And another
تُحِبُّونَهَاۖ
tuḥibboonahaa,―
that you love
نَصۡرٞ
naṣrum
a help
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَفَتۡحٞ
wa-fatḥuñ
and a victory
قَرِيبٞۗ
q̣areeb.
near
وَبَشِّرِ
Wa-bashshiril
and give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
(to) the believers
١٣
61:14
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
كُونُوٓاْ
koonooo
Be
أَنصَارَ
ʹañṣaaral
helpers
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
كَمَا
kamaa
as
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
عِيسَى
ʻEesab
Isa
ٱبۡنُ
nu
son
مَرۡيَمَ
Maryama
(of) Maryam
لِلۡحَوَارِيِّـۧنَ
lil-Ḥawaariyyeena
to the disciples
مَنۡ
man
Who
أَنصَارِيٓ
ʹañṣaareee
(are) my helpers
إِلَى
ʹilal
for
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah?
Allah
قَالَ
Q̣aalal
Said
ٱلۡحَوَارِيُّونَ
Ḥawaariyyoona
the disciples
نَحۡنُ
naḥnu
We
أَنصَارُ
ʹañṣaarul
(are) the helpers
ٱللَّهِۖ
laahi
(of) Allah
فَـَٔامَنَت
faʹaamanaṭ
Then believed
طَّآئِفَةٞ
ṭaaaʹifatum
a group
مِّنۢ
mim
of
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
وَكَفَرَت
wa-kafaraṭ
and disbelieved
طَّآئِفَةٞۖ
ṭaaaʹifah.
a group
فَأَيَّدۡنَا
Faʹayyadnal
So We supported
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
against
عَدُوِّهِمۡ
ʻaduwwihim
their enemy
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
faʹaṣbaḥoo
and they became
ظَٰهِرِينَ
z̤̣aahireen.
dominant
