ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
ʹAl-Ḥamdu
All praises
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
(be) to Allah
فَاطِرِ
Faaṭiris

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
Samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
جَاعِلِ
jaaʻilil
(Who) makes
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
malaaaʹikati
the Angels
رُسُلًا
rusulan
messengers
أُوْلِيٓ
ʹuleee
having wings
أَجۡنِحَةٖ
ʹajniḥatim
having wings
مَّثۡنَىٰ
mas̤naa
two
وَثُلَٰثَ
wa-s̤ulaas̤a
or three
وَرُبَٰعَۚ
wa-rubaaʻ:
or four
يَزِيدُ
yazeedu
He increases
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡخَلۡقِ
khalq̣i
the creation
مَا
maa-
what
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ:
He wills
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
قَدِيرٞ
Q̣adeer.
All-Powerful
١
35:2
مَّا
Maa-
What
يَفۡتَحِ
yaftaḥil
Allah grants
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah grants
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
to mankind
مِن
mir
of
رَّحۡمَةٖ
Raḥmatiñ
Mercy
فَلَا
falaa
then none
مُمۡسِكَ
mumsika
(can) withhold
لَهَاۖ
lahaa:
it
وَمَا
wa-maa
And what
يُمۡسِكۡ
yumsik
He withholds
فَلَا
falaa
then none
مُرۡسِلَ
mursila
(can) release
لَهُۥ
lahoo
it
مِنۢ
mim
thereafter
بَعۡدِهِۦۚ
baʻdih:
thereafter
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezul
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ḥakeem.
the All-Wise
٢
35:3
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasuẓ
mankind
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
kuroo
Remember
نِعۡمَتَ
niʻmatal
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ
ʻalaykum!
upon you
هَلۡ
Hal
Is
مِنۡ
min
(there) any
خَٰلِقٍ
Khaaliq̣in
creator
غَيۡرُ
g̣ayrul
other (than) Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
other (than) Allah
يَرۡزُقُكُم
yarzuq̣ukum
who provides for you
مِّنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ?
and the earth
لَآ
Laaa
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
هُوَۖ
Hoo!
He
فَأَنَّىٰ
Faʹannaa
Then how
تُؤۡفَكُونَ
tuʹfakoon?
(are) you deluded

وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
And if
يُكَذِّبُوكَ
yukaẓẓibooka
they deny you
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
then certainly
كُذِّبَتۡ
kuẓẓibat
were denied
رُسُلٞ
rusulum
Messengers
مِّن
miñ
before you
قَبۡلِكَۚ
q̣ablik:
before you
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
And to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
تُرۡجَعُ
turjaʻul
return
ٱلۡأُمُورُ
ʹumoor.
the matters
٤
35:5
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
mankind
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
وَعۡدَ
waʻdal
(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
حَقّٞۖ
ḥaq̣q̣uñ
(is) true
فَلَا
falaa
So (let) not
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
tag̣urrannakumul
deceive you
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
ḥayaatud
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa:
(of) the world
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (let) not
يَغُرَّنَّكُم
yag̣urrannakum̃
deceive you
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahil
about Allah
ٱلۡغَرُورُ
G̣aroor.
the Deceiver
٥
35:6
إِنَّ
ʹInnash
Indeed
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ
Shayṭaana
the Shaitaan
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is) to you
عَدُوّٞ
ʻaduwwuñ
an enemy
فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ
fattakhiẓoohu
so take him
عَدُوًّاۚ
ʻaduwwaa.
(as) an enemy
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يَدۡعُواْ
yadʻoo
he invites
حِزۡبَهُۥ
ḥizbahoo
his party
لِيَكُونُواْ
liyakoonoo
that they may be
مِنۡ
min
among
أَصۡحَٰبِ
ʹAṣḥaabis
(the) companions
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
Saʻeer.
(of) the Blaze
٦
35:7
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٞ
ʻAẓaabuñ
(will be) a punishment
شَدِيدٞۖ
shadeed!
severe
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
and those
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
who believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
righteous deeds
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغۡفِرَةٞ
mag̣firatuñw
(will be) forgiveness
وَأَجۡرٞ
waʹAjruñ
and a reward
كَبِيرٌ
kabeer.
great
٧
35:8
أَفَمَن
ʹAfamañ
Then is (he) who
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina
is made fair-seeming
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to him
سُوٓءُ
soooʹu
(the) evil
عَمَلِهِۦ
ʻamalihee
(of) his deed
فَرَءَاهُ
faraʹaahu
so that he sees it
حَسَنٗاۖ
ḥasanaa?
(as) good
فَإِنَّ
Faʹinnal
For indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُضِلُّ
yuḍillu
lets go astray
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَهۡدِي
wa-yahdee
and guides
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُۖ
yashaaaʹ.
He wills
فَلَا
Falaa
So (let) not
تَذۡهَبۡ
taẓhab
go out
نَفۡسُكَ
nafsuka
your soul
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
for them
حَسَرَٰتٍۚ
ḥasaraat.
(in) regrets
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
ʻAleemum
(is) All-Knower
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
يَصۡنَعُونَ
yaṣnaʻoon!
they do
٨
35:9
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahul
And Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَرۡسَلَ
ʹarsalar
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
riyaaḥa
the winds
فَتُثِيرُ
fatus̤eeru
so that they raise
سَحَابٗا
saḥaabañ
(the) clouds
فَسُقۡنَٰهُ
fasuq̣naahu
and We drive them
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
بَلَدٖ
baladim
a land
مَّيِّتٖ
mayyitiñ
dead
فَأَحۡيَيۡنَا
faʹaḥyaynaa
and We revive
بِهِ
bihil
therewith
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
ʹarda
the earth
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
مَوۡتِهَاۚ
mawtihaa.
its death
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalikan
Thus
ٱلنُّشُورُ
Nushoor!
(will be) the Resurrection
٩
35:10
مَن
Mañ
Whoever
كَانَ
kaana
[is] desires
يُرِيدُ
yureedul
[is] desires
ٱلۡعِزَّةَ
ʻizzata
the honor
فَلِلَّهِ
falillahil
then for Allah
ٱلۡعِزَّةُ
ʻizzatu
(is) the Honor
جَمِيعًاۚ
jameeʻaa.
all
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹIlayhi
To Him
يَصۡعَدُ
yaṣʻadul
ascends
ٱلۡكَلِمُ
Kalimuṭ
the words
ٱلطَّيِّبُ
Ṭayyibu
good
وَٱلۡعَمَلُ
walʻAmaluṣ
and the deed
ٱلصَّٰلِحُ
Ṣaaliḥu
righteous
يَرۡفَعُهُۥۚ
yarfaʻuh.
raises it
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
But those who
يَمۡكُرُونَ
yamkuroonas
plot
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
sayyiʹaati
the evil
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٞ
ʻAẓaabuñ
(is) a punishment
شَدِيدٞۖ
shadeed;
severe
وَمَكۡرُ
wa-makru
and (the) plotting
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
(of) those
هُوَ
huwa
it
يَبُورُ
yaboor.
(will) perish
١٠
35:11
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
خَلَقَكُم
khalaq̣akum
created you
مِّن
miñ
from
تُرَابٖ
turaabiñ
dust
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
مِن
min
from
نُّطۡفَةٖ
nuṭfatiñ
a semen-drop
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
جَعَلَكُمۡ
jaʻalakum
He made you
أَزۡوَٰجٗاۚ
ʹazwaajaa.
pairs
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
تَحۡمِلُ
taḥmilu
conceives
مِنۡ
min
any
أُنثَىٰ
ʹuñs̤aa.
female
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
تَضَعُ
taḍaʻu
gives birth
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِعِلۡمِهِۦۚ
biʻilmih.
with His knowledge
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يُعَمَّرُ
yuʻammaru
is granted life
مِن
mim
any
مُّعَمَّرٖ
muʻammariñw
aged person
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يُنقَصُ
yuñq̣aṣu
is lessened
مِنۡ
min
from
عُمُرِهِۦٓ
ʻumuriheee
his life
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
فِي
fee
(is) in
كِتَٰبٍۚ
Kitaab.
a Register
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
عَلَى
ʻalal
for
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
يَسِيرٞ
yaseer.
(is) easy

وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawil
are alike
ٱلۡبَحۡرَانِ
baḥraani
the two seas
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
عَذۡبٞ
ʻaẓbuñ
(is) fresh
فُرَاتٞ
furaatuñ
sweet
سَآئِغٞ
saaaʹig̣uñ
pleasant
شَرَابُهُۥ
sharaabuhoo
its drink
وَهَٰذَا
wa-haaẓaa
and this
مِلۡحٌ
milḥun
salty
أُجَاجٞۖ
ʹujaaj.
(and) bitter
وَمِن
Wa-miñ
And from
كُلّٖ
kulliñ
each
تَأۡكُلُونَ
taʹkuloona
you eat
لَحۡمٗا
laḥmañ
meat
طَرِيّٗا
ṭariyyañw
fresh
وَتَسۡتَخۡرِجُونَ
watastakhrijoona
and you extract
حِلۡيَةٗ
ḥilyatañ
ornaments
تَلۡبَسُونَهَاۖ
talbasoonahaa;
you wear them
وَتَرَى
wa-taral
and you see
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
fulka
the ships
فِيهِ
feehi
in it
مَوَاخِرَ
mawaakhira
cleaving
لِتَبۡتَغُواْ
litabtag̣oo
so that you may seek
مِن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
Faḍlihee
His Bounty
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
wa-laʻallakum
and that you may
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuroon.
be grateful
١٢
35:13
يُولِجُ
Yoolijul
He causes to enter
ٱلَّيۡلَ
layla
the night
فِي
fin
in (to)
ٱلنَّهَارِ
nahaari
the day
وَيُولِجُ
wa-yoolijun
and He causes to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
nahaara
the day
فِي
fil
in (to)
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the night
وَسَخَّرَ
wa-sakhkharash
and He has subjected
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
shamsa
the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ
wal-q̣amar:
and the moon
كُلّٞ
Kulluñy
each
يَجۡرِي
yajree
running
لِأَجَلٖ
liʹajalim
for a term
مُّسَمّٗىۚ
musammaa.
appointed
ذَٰلِكُمُ
Ẓaalikumul
That (is)
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
رَبُّكُمۡ
Rabbukum
your Lord
لَهُ
lahul
for Him
ٱلۡمُلۡكُۚ
Mulk.
(is) the Dominion
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you invoke
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
doonihee
besides Him
مَا
maa-
not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikoona
they possess
مِن
miñ
even
قِطۡمِيرٍ
q̣iṭmeer.
(as much as) the membrane of a date-seed
١٣
35:14
إِن
ʹIñ
If
تَدۡعُوهُمۡ
tadʻoohum
you invoke them
لَا
laa-
not
يَسۡمَعُواْ
yasmaʻoo
they hear
دُعَآءَكُمۡ
duʻaaaʹakum.
your call
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
and if
سَمِعُواْ
samiʻoo
they heard
مَا
mas
not
ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ
tajaaboo
they (would) respond
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum.
to you
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawmal
And (on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
يَكۡفُرُونَ
yakfuroona
they will deny
بِشِرۡكِكُمۡۚ
bishirkikum.
your association
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And none
يُنَبِّئُكَ
yunabbiʹuka
can inform you
مِثۡلُ
mis̤lu
like
خَبِيرٖ
khabeer.
(the) All-Aware
١٤
35:15
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
mankind
أَنتُمُ
ʹañtumul
You
ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُ
fuq̣araaaʹu
(are) those in need
إِلَى
ʹilal
of
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah:
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
while Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
G̣aniyyul
(is) Free of need
ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
Ḥameed.
the Praiseworthy
١٥
35:16
إِن
ʹIñy
If
يَشَأۡ
yashaʹ
He wills
يُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ
yuẓhibkum
He (can) do away with you
وَيَأۡتِ
wa-yaʹti
and bring
بِخَلۡقٖ
bi-Khalq̣iñ
in a creation
جَدِيدٖ
Jadeed.
new
١٦
35:17
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
عَلَى
ʻalal
(is) on
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
بِعَزِيزٖ
biʻazeez.
difficult
١٧
35:18
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
تَزِرُ
taziru
will bear
وَازِرَةٞ
waaziratuñw
bearer of burdens
وِزۡرَ
wizra
burden
أُخۡرَىٰۚ
ʹukhraa.
(of) another
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَدۡعُ
tadʻu
calls
مُثۡقَلَةٌ
mus̤q̣alatun
a heavily laden
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
حِمۡلِهَا
ḥimlihaa
(carry) its load
لَا
laa-
not
يُحۡمَلۡ
yuḥmal
will be carried
مِنۡهُ
minhu
of it
شَيۡءٞ
shayʹuñw
anything
وَلَوۡ
walaw
even if
كَانَ
kaana
he be
ذَا
ẓaa
near of kin
قُرۡبَىٰٓۗ
q̣urbaa.
near of kin
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
تُنذِرُ
tuñẓirul
you can warn
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
yakhshawna
fear
رَبَّهُم
Rabbahum̃
their Lord
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ
bilg̣aybi
unseen
وَأَقَامُواْ
wa-ʹaq̣aamuṣ
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ
Ṣalaah.
the prayer
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
And whoever
تَزَكَّىٰ
tazakkaa
purifies himself
فَإِنَّمَا
faʹinnamaa
then only
يَتَزَكَّىٰ
yatazakkaa
he purifies
لِنَفۡسِهِۦۚ
linafsih:
for his own self
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
And to
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
maṣeer.
(is) the destination

وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawil
equal
ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
ʹaʻmaa
(are) the blind
وَٱلۡبَصِيرُ
wal-baṣeer;
and the seeing
١٩
35:20
وَلَا
Wa-laz̤̣
And not
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ
z̤̣ulumaatu
the darkness[es]
وَلَا
wa-lan
and not
ٱلنُّورُ
noor;
[the] light
٢٠
35:21
وَلَا
Wa-laz̤̣
And not
ٱلظِّلُّ
z̤̣illu
the shade
وَلَا
wa-lal
and not
ٱلۡحَرُورُ
ḥaroor:
the heat
٢١
35:22
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawil
equal
ٱلۡأَحۡيَآءُ
ʹaḥyaaaʹu
(are) the living
وَلَا
wa-lal
and not
ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰتُۚ
ʹamwaat.
the dead
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُسۡمِعُ
yusmiʻu
causes to hear
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُۖ
yashaaaʹ;
He wills
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
and not
أَنتَ
ʹañta
you
بِمُسۡمِعٖ
bimusmiʻim
can make hear
مَّن
mañ
(those) who
فِي
fil
(are) in
ٱلۡقُبُورِ
q̣uboor.
the graves
٢٢
35:23
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
أَنتَ
ʹañta
you (are)
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
نَذِيرٌ
naẓeer.
a warner
٢٣
35:24
إِنَّآ
ʹInnaaa
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
ʹarsalnaaka
[We] have sent you
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-ḥaq̣q̣i
with the truth
بَشِيرٗا
basheerañw
(as) a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرٗاۚ
wanaẓeeraa:
and (as) a warner
وَإِن
wa-ʹim
And not
مِّنۡ
min
(was) any
أُمَّةٍ
ʹummatin
nation
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
خَلَا
khalaa
had passed
فِيهَا
feehaa
within it
نَذِيرٞ
naẓeer.
a warner
٢٤
35:25
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
And if
يُكَذِّبُوكَ
yukaẓẓibooka
they deny you
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
then certainly
كَذَّبَ
kaẓẓabal
denied
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
مِن
miñ
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
q̣ablihim:
(were) before them
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
Came to them
رُسُلُهُم
rusuluhum̃
their Messengers
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-Bayyinaati
with clear signs
وَبِٱلزُّبُرِ
wa-biz-Zuburi
and with Scriptures
وَبِٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
wa-bil-Kitaabil
and with the Book
ٱلۡمُنِيرِ
Muneer.
[the] enlightening
٢٥
35:26
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
أَخَذۡتُ
ʹakhaẓtul
I seized
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْۖ
kafaroo
disbelieved
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
and how
كَانَ
kaana
was
نَكِيرِ
nakeer.
My rejection
٢٦
35:27
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
sends down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
مَآءٗ
maaaʹaa?
water
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا
Faʹakhrajnaa
then We bring forth
بِهِۦ
bihee
therewith
ثَمَرَٰتٖ
s̤amaraatim
fruits
مُّخۡتَلِفًا
mukhtalifan
(of) various
أَلۡوَٰنُهَاۚ
ʹalwaanuhaa.
[their] colors
وَمِنَ
Wa-minal
And in
ٱلۡجِبَالِ
jibaali
the mountains
جُدَدُۢ
judadum
(are) tracts
بِيضٞ
beeḍuñw
white
وَحُمۡرٞ
waḥumrum
and red
مُّخۡتَلِفٌ
mukhtalifun
(of) various
أَلۡوَٰنُهَا
ʹalwaanuhaa
[their] colors
وَغَرَابِيبُ
wa-g̣araabeebu
and intensely black
سُودٞ
sood.
and intensely black
٢٧
35:28
وَمِنَ
Wa-minan
And among
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
men
وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ
waddawaaabbi
and moving creatures
وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
wal-ʹanʻaami
and the cattle
مُخۡتَلِفٌ
mukhtalifun
(are) various
أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ
ʹalwaanuhoo
[their] colors
كَذَٰلِكَۗ
kaẓaalik.
likewise
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يَخۡشَى
yakhshal
fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مِنۡ
min
among
عِبَادِهِ
ʻIbaadihil
His slaves
ٱلۡعُلَمَٰٓؤُاْۗ
ʻulamaaaʹ:
those who have knowledge
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
غَفُورٌ
G̣afoor.
Oft-Forgiving
٢٨
35:29
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَتۡلُونَ
yatloona
recite
كِتَٰبَ
Kitaabal
(the) Book
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَأَقَامُواْ
wa-ʹaq̣aamuṣ
and establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَأَنفَقُواْ
wa-ʹañfaq̣oo
and spend
مِمَّا
mimmaa
out of what
رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
razaq̣naahum
We have provided them
سِرّٗا
sirrañw
secretly
وَعَلَانِيَةٗ
waʻalaaniyatañy
and openly
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjoona
hope
تِجَٰرَةٗ
Tijaaratal
(for) a commerce
لَّن
lañ
never
تَبُورَ
taboor:
it will perish
٢٩
35:30
لِيُوَفِّيَهُمۡ
Liyuwaffiyahum
That He may give them in full
أُجُورَهُمۡ
ʹujoorahum
their rewards
وَيَزِيدَهُم
wa-yazeedahum
and increase for them
مِّن
miñ
of
فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ
Faḍlih:
His Bounty
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
غَفُورٞ
G̣afooruñ
(is) Oft-Forgiving
شَكُورٞ
Shakoor.
Most Appreciative

وَٱلَّذِيٓ
Wallaẓeee
And (that) which
أَوۡحَيۡنَآ
ʹawḥaynaaa
We have revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
the Book
هُوَ
huwal
it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
(is) the truth
مُصَدِّقٗا
muṣaddiq̣al
confirming
لِّمَا
limaa
what (was)
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before it
يَدَيۡهِۗ
yadayh:
before it
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بِعِبَادِهِۦ
biʻIbaadihee
of His slaves
لَخَبِيرُۢ
la-Khabeerum
surely (is) All-Aware
بَصِيرٞ
Baṣeer.
All-Seer
٣١
35:32
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
أَوۡرَثۡنَا
ʹawras̤nal
We caused to inherit
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaabal
the Book
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenaṣ
those whom
ٱصۡطَفَيۡنَا
ṭafaynaa
We have chosen
مِنۡ
min
of
عِبَادِنَاۖ
ʻibaadinaa:
Our slaves
فَمِنۡهُمۡ
faminhum
and among them
ظَالِمٞ
z̤̣aalimul
(is he) who wrongs
لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ
linafsih;
himself
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and among them
مُّقۡتَصِدٞ
muq̣taṣid;
(is he who is) moderate
وَمِنۡهُمۡ
wa-minhum
and among them
سَابِقُۢ
saabiq̣um
(is he who is) foremost
بِٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ
bilkhayraati
in good deeds
بِإِذۡنِ
biʹiẓnil
by permission
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah;
(of) Allah
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That
هُوَ
huwal
is
ٱلۡفَضۡلُ
Faḍlul
the Bounty
ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
Kabeer.
the great
٣٢
35:33
جَنَّٰتُ
Jannaatu
Gardens
عَدۡنٖ
ʻAdniñy
(of) Eternity
يَدۡخُلُونَهَا
yad-khuloonahaa
they will enter them
يُحَلَّوۡنَ
yuḥallawna
They will be adorned
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
مِنۡ
min
with
أَسَاوِرَ
ʹasaawira
bracelets
مِن
miñ
of
ذَهَبٖ
ẓahabiñw
gold
وَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖ
waluʹluʹaa;
and pearls
وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ
wa-libaa-suhum
and their garments
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
حَرِيرٞ
ḥareer.
(will be of) silk
٣٣
35:34
وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aalul
And they (will) say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
Ḥamdu
All praises
لِلَّهِ
lillaahil
(be) to Allah
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
the One Who
أَذۡهَبَ
ʹaẓhaba
(has) removed
عَنَّا
ʻannal
from us
ٱلۡحَزَنَۖ
ḥazan:
the sorrow
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
our Lord
لَغَفُورٞ
la-G̣afooruñ
(is) surely Oft-Forgiving
شَكُورٌ
Shakoor:
Most Appreciative
٣٤
35:35
ٱلَّذِيٓ
ʹAllaẓeee
The One Who
أَحَلَّنَا
ʹaḥallanaa
has settled us
دَارَ
Daaral
(in) a Home
ٱلۡمُقَامَةِ
muq̣aamati
(of) Eternity
مِن
miñ
(out) of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
Faḍlih:
His Bounty
لَا
laa-
Not
يَمَسُّنَا
yamassunaa
touches us
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
نَصَبٞ
naṣabuñw
any fatigue
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يَمَسُّنَا
yamassunaa
touches
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
لُغُوبٞ
lug̣oob.
weariness
٣٥
35:36
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
نَارُ
Naaru
(will be the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannam;
(of) Hell
لَا
laa-
Not
يُقۡضَىٰ
yuq̣ḍaa
is decreed
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
for them
فَيَمُوتُواْ
fayamootoo
that they die
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُخَفَّفُ
yukhaffafu
will be lightened
عَنۡهُم
ʻanhum
for them
مِّنۡ
min
of
عَذَابِهَاۚ
ʻAẓaabihaa.
its torment
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
نَجۡزِي
najzee
We recompense
كُلَّ
kulla
every
كَفُورٖ
kafoor!
ungrateful one
٣٦
35:37
وَهُمۡ
Wa-hum
And they
يَصۡطَرِخُونَ
yaṣṭarikhoona
will cry
فِيهَا
feehaa:
therein
رَبَّنَآ
Rabbanaaa
Our Lord
أَخۡرِجۡنَا
ʹakhrijnaa
Bring us out
نَعۡمَلۡ
naʻmal
we will do
صَٰلِحًا
ṣaaliḥan
righteous (deeds)
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayral
other than
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(that) which
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we used
نَعۡمَلُۚ
naʻmal!
(to) do
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹA-walamnu
Did not
نُعَمِّرۡكُم
ʻammirkum
We give you life long enough
مَّا
maa
that
يَتَذَكَّرُ
yataẓakkaru
(would) receive admonition
فِيهِ
feehi
therein
مَن
mañ
whoever
تَذَكَّرَ
taẓakkara
receives admonition
وَجَآءَكُمُ
wa-jaaaʹakumun
And came to you
ٱلنَّذِيرُۖ
naẓeer.
the warner
فَذُوقُواْ
Faẓooq̣oo
So taste
فَمَا
famaa
then not
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
liz̤̣z̤̣aalimeena
(is) for the wrongdoers
مِن
min
any
نَّصِيرٍ
naṣeer.
helper
٣٧
35:38
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَٰلِمُ
ʻAalimu
(is the) Knower
غَيۡبِ
g̣aybis
(of the) unseen
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹard:
and the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed He
عَلِيمُۢ
ʻAleemum
(is the) All-Knower
بِذَاتِ
biẓaatiṣ
of what (is) in the breasts
ٱلصُّدُورِ
ṣudoor.
of what (is) in the breasts

هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَكُمۡ
jaʻalakum
made you
خَلَٰٓئِفَ
khalaaaʹifa
successors
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
فَمَن
famañ
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
فَعَلَيۡهِ
faʻalayhi
then upon him
كُفۡرُهُۥۖ
kufruh:
(is) his disbelief
وَلَا
wa-laa
And not
يَزِيدُ
yazeedul
increase
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
kufruhum
their disbelief
عِندَ
ʻiñda
near
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَقۡتٗاۖ
maq̣taa:
(in) hatred
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَزِيدُ
yazeedul
increase
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
kufruhum
their disbelief
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
خَسَارٗا
khasaaraa.
(in) loss
٣٩
35:40
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ʹaraʹaytum
Have you seen
شُرَكَآءَكُمُ
shurakaaaʹakumul
your partners
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you call
مِن
miñ
besides
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laah?
Allah
أَرُونِي
ʹAroonee
Show Me
مَاذَا
maaẓaa
what
خَلَقُواْ
khalaq̣oo
they have created
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
شِرۡكٞ
shirkuñ
(is) a share
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaat?
the heavens
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
ʹaataynaahum
have We given them
كِتَٰبٗا
Kitaabañ
a Book
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
(are) on
بَيِّنَتٖ
Bayyinatim
a clear proof
مِّنۡهُۚ
minh?―
therefrom
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
إِن
ʹiñy
not
يَعِدُ
yaʻiduz̤̣
promise
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoona
the wrongdoers
بَعۡضُهُم
baʻḍuhum̃
some of them
بَعۡضًا
baʻḍan
(to) others
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
غُرُورًا
g̣urooraa.
delusion
٤٠
35:41
۞إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُمۡسِكُ
yumsikus
upholds
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
أَن
ʹañ
lest
تَزُولَاۚ
tazoolaa:
they cease
وَلَئِن
wa-laʹiñ
And if
زَالَتَآ
zaalataaa
they should cease
إِنۡ
ʹin
not
أَمۡسَكَهُمَا
ʹamsakahumaa
can uphold them
مِنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ʹaḥadim
one
مِّنۢ
mim
after Him
بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ
baʻdih:
after Him
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
كَانَ
kaana
is
حَلِيمًا
Ḥaleeman
Most Forbearing
غَفُورٗا
G̣afooraa!
Oft-Forgiving
٤١
35:42
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ
Wa-ʹaq̣samoo
And they swore
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
(the) strongest
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
ʹaymaanihim
(of) their oaths
لَئِن
laʹiñ
that if
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaaʹahum
came to them
نَذِيرٞ
naẓeerul
a warner
لَّيَكُونُنَّ
layakoonunna
surely they would be
أَهۡدَىٰ
ʹahdaa
more guided
مِنۡ
min
than
إِحۡدَى
ʹiḥdal
any
ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ
ʹUmami
(of) the nations
فَلَمَّا
falammaa
But when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaaʹahum
came to them
نَذِيرٞ
naẓeerum
a warner
مَّا
maa
not
زَادَهُمۡ
zaadahum
it increased them
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
نُفُورًا
nufooraa,―
(in) aversion
٤٢
35:43
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا
ʹIstikbaarañ
(Due to) arrogance
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the land
وَمَكۡرَ
wa-makras
and plotting
ٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚ
Sayyiʹ.
(of) the evil
وَلَا
Wa-laa
but not
يَحِيقُ
yaḥeeq̣ul
encompasses
ٱلۡمَكۡرُ
makrus
the plot
ٱلسَّيِّئُ
Sayyiʹu
(of) the evil
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
بِأَهۡلِهِۦۚ
biʹahlih.
its own people
فَهَلۡ
Fahal
Then do
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
they wait
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
سُنَّتَ
sunnatal
(the) way
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَۚ
ʹawwaleen?
(of) the former (people)
فَلَن
Falañ
But never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّتِ
li-Sunnatil
in (the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
تَبۡدِيلٗاۖ
tabdeelaa:
any change
وَلَن
wa-lañ
and never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّتِ
li-Sunnatil
in (the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
تَحۡوِيلًا
taḥweelaa.
any alteration
٤٣
35:44
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Have they not
يَسِيرُواْ
yaseeroo
traveled
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the land
فَيَنظُرُواْ
fayañz̤̣uroo
and seen
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
ʻAaq̣ibatul
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
مِن
miñ
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
q̣ablihim
(were) before them
وَكَانُوٓاْ
wa-kaanooo
And they were
أَشَدَّ
ʹashadda
stronger
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
than them
قُوَّةٗۚ
q̣uwwah?
(in) power
وَمَا
Wa-maa
But not
كَانَ
kaanal
is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ
liyuʻjizahoo
that can escape (from) Him
مِن
miñ
any
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
ʹarḍ:
the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
كَانَ
kaana
is
عَلِيمٗا
ʻAleemañ
All-Knower
قَدِيرٗا
Q̣adeeraa.
All-Powerful

وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
يُؤَاخِذُ
yuʹaakhiẓul
Allah (were to) punish
ٱللَّهُ
laahun
Allah (were to) punish
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
the people
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَسَبُواْ
kasaboo
they have earned
مَا
maa-
not
تَرَكَ
taraka
He would leave
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
ظَهۡرِهَا
z̤̣ahrihaa
its back
مِن
miñ
any
دَآبَّةٖ
daaabbatiñw
creature
وَلَٰكِن
walaakiñy
But
يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ
yuʹakhkhiruhum
He gives them respite
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
till
أَجَلٖ
ʹajalim
a term
مُّسَمّٗىۖ
musammaa:
appointed
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
And when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
ʹAjaluhum
their term
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَانَ
kaana
is
بِعِبَادِهِۦ
biʻibaadihee
of His slaves
بَصِيرَۢا
Baṣeeraa.
