33:1
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaa-ʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyut
O Prophet
ٱتَّقِ
taq̣il
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تُطِعِ
tuṭiʻil
obey
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَۚ
wal-Munaafiq̣een:
and the hypocrites
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَانَ
kaana
is
عَلِيمًا
ʻAleeman
All-Knower
حَكِيمٗا
Ḥakeemaa.
All-Wise
١
33:2
وَٱتَّبِعۡ
Wattabiʻ
And follow
مَا
maa-
what
يُوحَىٰٓ
yooḥaaa
is inspired
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَۚ
Rabbik:
your Lord
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَانَ
kaana
is
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloona
you do
خَبِيرٗا
khabeeraa.
All-Aware
٢
33:3
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
Wa-tawakkal
And put your trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
wa-kafaa
And Allah is sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
And Allah is sufficient
وَكِيلٗا
Wakeelaa.
(as) Disposer of affairs
٣
33:4
مَّا
Maa-
Not
جَعَلَ
jaʻalal
Allah (has) made
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) made
لِرَجُلٖ
lirajulim
for any man
مِّن
miñ
[of]
قَلۡبَيۡنِ
q̣albayni
two hearts
فِي
fee
in
جَوۡفِهِۦۚ
jawfih:
his interior
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
جَعَلَ
jaʻala
He (has) made
أَزۡوَٰجَكُمُ
ʹazwaajakumul
your wives
ٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
laaaʹee
whom
تُظَٰهِرُونَ
tuz̤̣aahiroona
you declare unlawful
مِنۡهُنَّ
minhunna
[of them]
أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۚ
ʹummahaatikum:
(as) your mothers
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
جَعَلَ
jaʻala
He has made
أَدۡعِيَآءَكُمۡ
ʹadʻiyaaaʹakum
your adopted sons
أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡۚ
ʹabnaaaʹakum.
your sons
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
Ẓaalikum
That
قَوۡلُكُم
q̣awlukum̃
(is) your saying
بِأَفۡوَٰهِكُمۡۖ
biʹafwaahikum.
by your mouths
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
but Allah
يَقُولُ
yaq̣oolul
says
ٱلۡحَقَّ
Ḥaq̣q̣a
the truth
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwa
and He
يَهۡدِي
yahdis
guides
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
Sabeel.
(to) the Way
٤
33:5
ٱدۡعُوهُمۡ
ʹUdʻoohum
Call them
لِأٓبَآئِهِمۡ
liʹaabaaaʹihim
by their fathers
هُوَ
huwa
it
أَقۡسَطُ
ʹaq̣saṭu
(is) more just
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
near
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
Allah
فَإِن
Faʹil
But if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ
taʻlamooo
you know
ءَابَآءَهُمۡ
ʹaabaaaʹahum
their fathers
فَإِخۡوَٰنُكُمۡ
faʹikhwaanukum
then (they are) your brothers
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدِّينِ
deeni
[the] religion
وَمَوَٰلِيكُمۡۚ
wa-mawaaleekum.
and your friends
وَلَيۡسَ
Wa-laysa
But not is
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
جُنَاحٞ
junaaḥuñ
any blame
فِيمَآ
feemaaa
in what
أَخۡطَأۡتُم
ʹakhṭaʹtum̃
you made a mistake
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakim
but
مَّا
maa
what
تَعَمَّدَتۡ
taʻammadat
intended
قُلُوبُكُمۡۚ
q̣uloobukum:
your hearts
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And Allah
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمًا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
٥
33:6
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
ʹAn-Nabiyyu
The Prophet
أَوۡلَىٰ
ʹawlaa
(is) closer
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-Muʹmineena
to the believers
مِنۡ
min
than
أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ
ʹañfusihim
their own selves
وَأَزۡوَٰجُهُۥٓ
wa-ʹazwaajuhooo
and his wives
أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡۗ
ʹummahaatuhum.
(are) their mothers
وَأُوْلُواْ
Wa-ʹulul
And possessors
ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ
ʹarḥaami
(of) relationships
بَعۡضُهُمۡ
baʻḍuhum
some of them
أَوۡلَىٰ
ʹawlaa
(are) closer
بِبَعۡضٖ
bibaʻḍiñ
to another
فِي
fee
in
كِتَٰبِ
Kitaabil
(the) Decree
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
مِنَ
minal
than
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
وَٱلۡمُهَٰجِرِينَ
wal-Muhaajireena
and the emigrants
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَفۡعَلُوٓاْ
tafʻalooo
you do
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
to
أَوۡلِيَآئِكُم
ʹawliyaaaʹikum
your friends
مَّعۡرُوفٗاۚ
maʻroofaa:
a kindness
كَانَ
kaana
That is
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
That is
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
the Book
مَسۡطُورٗا
masṭooraa.
written

وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
أَخَذۡنَا
ʹakhaẓnaa
We took
مِنَ
minan
from
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
Nabiyyeena
the Prophets
مِيثَٰقَهُمۡ
Mees̤aaq̣ahum
their Covenant
وَمِنكَ
wa-miñka
and from you
وَمِن
wa-min
and from
نُّوحٖ
Nooḥiñw
Nuh
وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
WaʹIbraaheema
and Ibrahim
وَمُوسَىٰ
wa-Moosaa
and Musa
وَعِيسَى
wa-ʻEesab
and Isa
ٱبۡنِ
ni
son
مَرۡيَمَۖ
Maryam:
(of) Maryam
وَأَخَذۡنَا
wa-ʹakhaẓnaa
And We took
مِنۡهُم
minhum
from them
مِّيثَٰقًا
Mees̤aaq̣an
a covenant
غَلِيظٗا
g̣aleez̤̣aa:
strong
٧
33:8
لِّيَسۡـَٔلَ
Liyasʹalaṣ
That He may ask
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Ṣaadiq̣eena
the truthful
عَن
ʻañ
about
صِدۡقِهِمۡۚ
Ṣidq̣ihim:
their truth
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-ʹaʻadda
And He has prepared
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lilkaafireena
for the disbelievers
عَذَابًا
ʻAẓaaban
a punishment
أَلِيمٗا
ʹaleemaa.
painful
٨
33:9
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanuẓ
believe
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
kuroo
Remember
نِعۡمَةَ
Niʻmatal
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
جَآءَتۡكُمۡ
jaaaʹatkum
came to you
جُنُودٞ
junooduñ
(the) hosts
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا
faʹarsalnaa
and We sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
رِيحٗا
reeḥañw
a wind
وَجُنُودٗا
wajunoodal
and hosts
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَرَوۡهَاۚ
tarawhaa:
you (could) see them
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloona
you do
بَصِيرًا
Baṣeeraa.
All-Seer
٩
33:10
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
When
جَآءُوكُم
jaaaʹookum
they came upon you
مِّن
miñ
from
فَوۡقِكُمۡ
fawq̣ikum
above you
وَمِنۡ
wa-min
and from
أَسۡفَلَ
ʹasfala
below
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
you
وَإِذۡ
wa-ʹiẓ
and when
زَاغَتِ
zaag̣atil
grew wild
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
ʹabṣaaru
the eyes
وَبَلَغَتِ
wa-balag̣atil
and reached
ٱلۡقُلُوبُ
q̣uloobul
the hearts
ٱلۡحَنَاجِرَ
ḥanaajira
the throats
وَتَظُنُّونَ
wa-taz̤̣unnoona
and you assumed
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahiz̤̣
about Allah
ٱلظُّنُونَا۠
z̤̣unoonaa!
the assumptions
١٠
33:11
هُنَالِكَ
Hunaalikab
There
ٱبۡتُلِيَ
tuliyal
were tried
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
Muʹminoona
the believers
وَزُلۡزِلُواْ
wa-zulziloo
and shaken
زِلۡزَالٗا
zilzaalañ
(with a) shake
شَدِيدٗا
shadeedaa.
severe
١١
33:12
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
يَقُولُ
yaq̣oolul
said
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
Munaafiq̣oona
the hypocrites
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
and those
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِم
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maraḍum
(was) a disease
مَّا
maa
Not
وَعَدَنَا
waʻadanal
Allah promised us
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah promised us
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
wa-Rasooluhooo
and His messenger
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
غُرُورٗا
g̣urooraa!
delusion
١٢
33:13
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قَالَت
q̣aalaṭ
said
طَّآئِفَةٞ
ṭaaaʹifatum
a party
مِّنۡهُمۡ
minhum
of them
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaaaʹAhla
O People
يَثۡرِبَ
Yas̤riba
(of) Yathrib
لَا
laa-
No
مُقَامَ
muq̣aama
stand
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فَٱرۡجِعُواْۚ
farjiʻoo!
so return
وَيَسۡتَـٔۡذِنُ
Wa-yastaʹẓinu
And asked permission
فَرِيقٞ
fareeq̣um
a group
مِّنۡهُمُ
minhumun
of them
ٱلنَّبِيَّ
Nabiyya
(from) the Prophet
يَقُولُونَ
yaq̣ooloona
saying
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
بُيُوتَنَا
buyootanaa
our houses
عَوۡرَةٞ
ʻawrah.
(are) exposed
وَمَا
Wa-maa
and not
هِيَ
hiya
they
بِعَوۡرَةٍۖ
biʻawratin
(were) exposed
إِن
ʹiñy
Not
يُرِيدُونَ
yureedoona
they wished
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
فِرَارٗا
firaaraa.
to flee
١٣
33:14
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
دُخِلَتۡ
dukhilat
had been entered
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim
upon them
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَقۡطَارِهَا
ʹaq̣ṭaarihaa
all its sides
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
سُئِلُواْ
suʹilul
they had been asked
ٱلۡفِتۡنَةَ
fitnata
the treachery
لَأٓتَوۡهَا
laʹaatawhaa
they (would) have certainly done it
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
تَلَبَّثُواْ
talabbas̤oo
they (would) have hesitated
بِهَآ
bihaaa
over it
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
يَسِيرٗا
yaseeraa!
a little
١٤
33:15
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they had
عَٰهَدُواْ
ʻaahadul
promised
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
لَا
laa-
not
يُوَلُّونَ
yuwal-loonal
they would turn
ٱلۡأَدۡبَٰرَۚ
ʹadbaar:
their backs
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And is
عَهۡدُ
ʻahdul
(the) promise
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(to) Allah
مَسۡـُٔولٗا
masʹoolaa.
to be questioned

قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّن
lañy
Never
يَنفَعَكُمُ
yañfaʻakumul
will benefit you
ٱلۡفِرَارُ
firaaru
the fleeing
إِن
ʹiñ
if
فَرَرۡتُم
farartum
you flee
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَوۡتِ
mawti
death
أَوِ
ʹawil
or
ٱلۡقَتۡلِ
q̣atli
killing
وَإِذٗا
wa-ʹiẓal
and then
لَّا
laa
not
تُمَتَّعُونَ
tumattaʻoona
you will be allowed to enjoy
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelaa!
a little
١٦
33:17
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَن
mañ
Who
ذَا
ẓal
(is) it that
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) it that
يَعۡصِمُكُم
yaʻṣimukum
(can) protect you
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
إِنۡ
ʹin
If
أَرَادَ
ʹaraada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
سُوٓءًا
Soooʹan
any harm
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
أَرَادَ
ʹaraada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
رَحۡمَةٗۚ
Raḥmah?
a mercy
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَجِدُونَ
yajidoona
they will find
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّن
miñ
besides
دُونِ
doonil
besides
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَلِيّٗا
wa-liyyañw
any protector
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَصِيرٗا
naṣeeraa.
any helper
١٧
33:18
۞قَدۡ
Q̣ad
Verily
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamul
Allah knows
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah knows
ٱلۡمُعَوِّقِينَ
muʻawwiq̣eena
those who hinder
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
وَٱلۡقَآئِلِينَ
walq̣aaaʹileena
and those who say
لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡ
liʹikhwaanihim
to their brothers
هَلُمَّ
halumma
Come
إِلَيۡنَاۖ
ʹilaynaa,
to us
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَأۡتُونَ
yaʹtoonal
they come
ٱلۡبَأۡسَ
baʹsa
(to) the battle
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
قَلِيلًا
q̣aleelaa,
a few
١٨
33:19
أَشِحَّةً
ʹAshiḥḥatan
Miserly
عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ
ʻalaykum.
towards you
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
But when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹal
comes
ٱلۡخَوۡفُ
khawfu
the fear
رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ
raʹaytahum
you see them
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
looking
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
at you
تَدُورُ
tadooru
revolving
أَعۡيُنُهُمۡ
ʹaʻyunuhum
their eyes
كَٱلَّذِي
kallaẓee
like one who
يُغۡشَىٰ
yug̣shaa
faints
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
faints
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ
mawt:
[the] death
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
But when
ذَهَبَ
ẓahabal
departs
ٱلۡخَوۡفُ
khawfu
the fear
سَلَقُوكُم
salaq̣ookum̃
they smite you
بِأَلۡسِنَةٍ
biʹalsinatin
with tongues
حِدَادٍ
ḥidaadin
sharp
أَشِحَّةً
ʹashiḥḥatan
miserly
عَلَى
ʻalal
towards
ٱلۡخَيۡرِۚ
khayr.
the good
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those
لَمۡ
lam
not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yuʹminoo
they have believed
فَأَحۡبَطَ
faʹaḥbaṭal
so Allah made worthless
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
so Allah made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡۚ
ʹaʻmaalahum:
their deeds
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And is
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
عَلَى
ʻalal
for
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
يَسِيرٗا
yaseeraa.
easy
١٩
33:20
يَحۡسَبُونَ
Yaḥsaboonal
They think
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابَ
ʹAḤZAABA
the confederates
لَمۡ
lam
(have) not
يَذۡهَبُواْۖ
yaẓhaboo;
withdrawn
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَأۡتِ
yaʹtil
(should) come
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
ʹAḥzaabu
the confederates
يَوَدُّواْ
yawaddoo
they would wish
لَوۡ
law
if
أَنَّهُم
ʹannahum̃
that they (were)
بَادُونَ
baadoona
living in (the) desert
فِي
fil
among
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the Bedouins
يَسۡـَٔلُونَ
yasʹaloona
asking
عَنۡ
ʻan
about
أَنۢبَآئِكُمۡۖ
ʹambaaaʹikum;
your news
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
And if
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
فِيكُم
feekum
among you
مَّا
maa
not
قَٰتَلُوٓاْ
q̣aatalooo
they would fight
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelaa.
a little
٢٠
33:21
لَّقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Certainly
كَانَ
kaana
is
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فِي
fee
in
رَسُولِ
Rasoolil
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
أُسۡوَةٌ
ʹUswatun
an excellent example
حَسَنَةٞ
Ḥasanatul
an excellent example
لِّمَن
limañ
for (one) who
كَانَ
kaana
has
يَرۡجُواْ
yarjul
hope
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(in) Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمَ
wal-Yawmal
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرَ
ʹAakhira
the Last
وَذَكَرَ
waẓakaral
and remembers
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa.
much
٢١
33:22
وَلَمَّا
Wa-lammaa
And when
رَءَا
ra
saw
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
ʹal-Muʹminoonal
the believers
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابَ
ʹAḥzaaba
the confederates
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they said
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
مَا
maa-
(is) what
وَعَدَنَا
waʻadanal
Allah promised us
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah promised us
وَرَسُولُهُۥ
wa-Rasooluhoo
and His Messenger
وَصَدَقَ
waṣadaq̣al
and Allah spoke the truth
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
and Allah spoke the truth
وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ
wa-Rasooluh.
and His Messenger
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
زَادَهُمۡ
zaadahum
it increased them
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
إِيمَٰنٗا
ʹeemaanañw
(in) faith
وَتَسۡلِيمٗا
Watasleemaa.
and submission

مِّنَ
Minal
Among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
رِجَالٞ
rijaaluñ
(are) men
صَدَقُواْ
ṣadaq̣oo
(who) have been true
مَا
maa-
(to) what
عَٰهَدُواْ
ʻaahadul
they promised Allah
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
they promised Allah
عَلَيۡهِۖ
ʻalayh:
[on it]
فَمِنۡهُم
faminhum
And among them
مَّن
mañ
(is he) who
قَضَىٰ
q̣aḍaa
has fulfilled
نَحۡبَهُۥ
naḥbahoo
his vow
وَمِنۡهُم
wa-minhum
and among them
مَّن
mañy
(is he) who
يَنتَظِرُۖ
yañtaz̤̣ir:
awaits
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
بَدَّلُواْ
baddaloo
they alter
تَبۡدِيلٗا
tabdeelaa:
(by) any alteration
٢٣
33:24
لِّيَجۡزِيَ
Liyajziyal
That Allah may reward
ٱللَّهُ
laahuṣ
That Allah may reward
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
Ṣaadiq̣eena
the truthful
بِصِدۡقِهِمۡ
bi-Ṣidq̣ihim
for their truth
وَيُعَذِّبَ
wa-yuʻaẓẓibal
and punish
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
Munaafiq̣eena
the hypocrites
إِن
ʹiñ
if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
He wills
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
يَتُوبَ
yatooba
turn in mercy
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʻalayhim:
to them
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَانَ
kaana
is
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
٢٤
33:25
وَرَدَّ
Wa-raddal
And Allah turned back
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
And Allah turned back
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
بِغَيۡظِهِمۡ
big̣ayz̤̣ihim
in their rage
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَنَالُواْ
yanaaloo
they obtained
خَيۡرٗاۚ
khayraa;
any good
وَكَفَى
wa-kafal
And sufficient is
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineenal
(for) the believers
ٱلۡقِتَالَۚ
q̣itaal.
(in) the battle
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaanal
and Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
and Allah is
قَوِيًّا
Q̣awiyyan
All-Strong
عَزِيزٗا
ʻAzeezaa.
All-Mighty
٢٥
33:26
وَأَنزَلَ
Wa-ʹañzalal
And He brought down
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَٰهَرُوهُم
z̤̣aaharoohum
backed them
مِّنۡ
min
among
أَهۡلِ
ʹahlil
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
(of) the Scripture
مِن
miñ
from
صَيَاصِيهِمۡ
ṣayaaṣeehim
their fortresses
وَقَذَفَ
wa-q̣aẓafa
and cast
فِي
fee
into
قُلُوبِهِمُ
q̣uloobihi
their hearts
ٱلرُّعۡبَ
mur-ruʻba
[the] terror
فَرِيقٗا
fareeq̣añ
a group
تَقۡتُلُونَ
taq̣tuloona
you killed
وَتَأۡسِرُونَ
wa-taʹsiroona
and you took captive
فَرِيقٗا
fareeq̣aa.
a group
٢٦
33:27
وَأَوۡرَثَكُمۡ
Wa-ʹawras̤akum
And He caused you to inherit
أَرۡضَهُمۡ
ʹarḍahum
their land
وَدِيَٰرَهُمۡ
wa-diyaarahum
and their houses
وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُمۡ
wa-ʹamwaalahum
and their properties
وَأَرۡضٗا
wa-ʹarḍal
and a land
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَطَـُٔوهَاۚ
taṭaʹoohaa.
you (had) trodden
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayiñ
thing
قَدِيرٗا
Q̣adeeraa.
All-Powerful
٢٧
33:28
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
قُل
q̣ul
Say
لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ
liʹazwaajika
to your wives
إِن
ʹiñ
If
كُنتُنَّ
kuñtunna
you
تُرِدۡنَ
turidnal
desire
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ
ḥayaatad
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَزِينَتَهَا
wa-zeenatahaa
and its adornment
فَتَعَالَيۡنَ
fataʻaalayna
then come
أُمَتِّعۡكُنَّ
ʹumattiʻkunna
I will provide for you
وَأُسَرِّحۡكُنَّ
wa-ʹusarriḥkunna
and release you
سَرَاحٗا
saraahañ
(with) a release
جَمِيلٗا
jameelaa.
good
٢٨
33:29
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
But if
كُنتُنَّ
kuñtunna
you
تُرِدۡنَ
turidnal
desire
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
وَٱلدَّارَ
wad-Daaral
and the Home
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
ʹAakhirata
(of) the Hereafter
فَإِنَّ
faʹinnal
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
أَعَدَّ
ʹaʻadda
has prepared
لِلۡمُحۡسِنَٰتِ
lil-Muḥsinaati
for the good-doers
مِنكُنَّ
miñ-kunna
among you
أَجۡرًا
ʹajran
a reward
عَظِيمٗا
ʻaz̤̣eemaa.
great
٢٩
33:30
يَٰنِسَآءَ
Yaa-Nisaaaʹan
O wives
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
(of) the Prophet
مَن
mañy
Whoever
يَأۡتِ
yaʹti
commits
مِنكُنَّ
miñkunna
from you
بِفَٰحِشَةٖ
bifaaḥishatim
immorality
مُّبَيِّنَةٖ
mubayyinatiñy
clear
يُضَٰعَفۡ
yuḍaaʻaf
will be doubled
لَهَا
lahal
for her
ٱلۡعَذَابُ
ʻAẓaabu
the punishment
ضِعۡفَيۡنِۚ
ḍiʻfayn:
two fold
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And that is
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
And that is
عَلَى
ʻalal
for
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
يَسِيرٗا
yaseeraa.
easy

۞وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَقۡنُتۡ
yaq̣nut
is obedient
مِنكُنَّ
miñkunna
among you
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
to Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
وَتَعۡمَلۡ
wa-taʻmal
and does
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥan
righteousness
نُّؤۡتِهَآ
nuʹtihaaa
We will give her
أَجۡرَهَا
ʹajrahaa
her reward
مَرَّتَيۡنِ
marratayni
twice
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-ʹaʻtadnaa
and We have prepared
لَهَا
lahaa
for her
رِزۡقٗا
Rizq̣añ
a provision
كَرِيمٗا
kareemaa.

33:32
يَٰنِسَآءَ
Yaa-Nisaaaʹan
O wives
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
(of) the Prophet
لَسۡتُنَّ
lastunna
You are not
كَأَحَدٖ
kaʹaḥadim
like anyone
مِّنَ
minan
among
ٱلنِّسَآءِ
nisaaaʹi
the women
إِنِ
ʹinit
If
ٱتَّقَيۡتُنَّۚ
taq̣aytunna
you fear (Allah)
فَلَا
falaa
then (do) not
تَخۡضَعۡنَ
takhḍaʻna
be soft
بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ
bilq̣awli
in speech
فَيَطۡمَعَ
fayaṭmaʻal
lest should be moved with desire
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
he who
فِي
fee
in
قَلۡبِهِۦ
q̣albihee
his heart
مَرَضٞ
maraḍuñw
(is) a disease
وَقُلۡنَ
waq̣ulna
but say
قَوۡلٗا
q̣awlam
a word
مَّعۡرُوفٗا
maʻroofaa.
appropriate
٣٢
33:33
وَقَرۡنَ
Wa-q̣arna
And stay
فِي
fee
in
بُيُوتِكُنَّ
buyootikunna
your houses
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تَبَرَّجۡنَ
tabarrajna
display yourselves
تَبَرُّجَ
tabarrujal
(as was the) display
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ
Jaahiliyyatil
(of the times of) ignorance
ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ
ʹoolaa
the former
وَأَقِمۡنَ
wa-ʹaq̣imnaṣ
And establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَءَاتِينَ
wa-ʹaateenaz
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
zakah
وَأَطِعۡنَ
wa-ʹaṭiʻnal
and obey
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
wa-Rasoolah.
and His Messenger
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
يُرِيدُ
yureedul
Allah wishes
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah wishes
لِيُذۡهِبَ
liyuẓhiba
to remove
عَنكُمُ
ʻañkumur
from you
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
rijsa
the impurity
أَهۡلَ
ʹAhlal
(O) People
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
Bayti
(of) the House
وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ
wa-yuṭahhirakum
And to purify you
تَطۡهِيرٗا
taṭheeraa.
(with thorough) purification
٣٣
33:34
وَٱذۡكُرۡنَ
Waẓkurna
And remember
مَا
maa-
what
يُتۡلَىٰ
yutlaa
is recited
فِي
fee
in
بُيُوتِكُنَّ
buyootikunna
your houses
مِنۡ
min
of
ءَايَٰتِ
ʹAayaatil
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةِۚ
wal-Ḥikmah:
and the wisdom
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَانَ
kaana
is
لَطِيفًا
Laṭeefan
All-Subtle
خَبِيرًا
khabeeraa.
All-Aware
٣٤
33:35
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeena
the Muslim men
وَٱلۡمُسۡلِمَٰتِ
wal-Muslimaati
and the Muslim women
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
wal-muʹmineena
and the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
wal-muʹminaati
and the believing women
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
walq̣aaniteena
and the obedient men
وَٱلۡقَٰنِتَٰتِ
walq̣aanitaati
and the obedient women
وَٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
waṣṣaadiq̣eena
and the truthful men
وَٱلصَّٰدِقَٰتِ
waṣṣaadiq̣aati
and the truthful women
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
waṣṣaabireena
and the patient men
وَٱلصَّٰبِرَٰتِ
waṣṣaabiraati
and the patient women
وَٱلۡخَٰشِعِينَ
walkhaashiʻeena
and the humble men
وَٱلۡخَٰشِعَٰتِ
walkhaashiʻaati
and the humble women
وَٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
walmutaṣaddiq̣eena
and the men who give charity
وَٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ
walmutaṣaddiq̣aati
and the women who give charity
وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمِينَ
waṣṣaaaʹimeena
and the men who fast
وَٱلصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ
waṣṣaaaʹimaati
and the women who fast
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظِينَ
walḥaafiz̤̣eena
and the men who guard
فُرُوجَهُمۡ
furoojahum
their chastity
وَٱلۡحَٰفِظَٰتِ
walḥaafiz̤̣aati
and the women who guard (it)
وَٱلذَّٰكِرِينَ
waẓ-ẓaakireenal
and the men who remember
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eerañw
much
وَٱلذَّٰكِرَٰتِ
waẓ-ẓaakiraati
and the women who remember
أَعَدَّ
ʹaʻaddal
Allah has prepared
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has prepared
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغۡفِرَةٗ
mag̣firatañw
forgiveness
وَأَجۡرًا
waʹajran
and a reward
عَظِيمٗا
ʻaz̤̣eemaa.

وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaana
(it) is
لِمُؤۡمِنٖ
li-Muʹminiñw
for a believing man
وَلَا
walaa
and not
مُؤۡمِنَةٍ
Muʹminatin
(for) a believing woman
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
قَضَى
q̣aḍal
Allah has decided
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has decided
وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ
wa-Rasooluhooo
and His Messenger
أَمۡرًا
ʹamran
a matter
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَكُونَ
yakoona
(there) should be
لَهُمُ
lahumul
for them
ٱلۡخِيَرَةُ
khiyaratu
(any) choice
مِنۡ
min
about
أَمۡرِهِمۡۗ
ʹamrihim:
their affair
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And whoever
يَعۡصِ
yaʻṣil
disobeys
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
certainly
ضَلَّ
ḍalla
he (has) strayed
ضَلَٰلٗا
ḍalaalam
(into) error
مُّبِينٗا
mubeenaa.

33:37
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
تَقُولُ
taq̣oolu
you said
لِلَّذِيٓ
lillaẓeee
to the one
أَنۡعَمَ
ʹanʻamal
Allah bestowed favor
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
وَأَنۡعَمۡتَ
wa-ʹanʻamta
and you bestowed favor
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on him
أَمۡسِكۡ
ʹamsik
Keep
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
to yourself
زَوۡجَكَ
zawjaka
your wife
وَٱتَّقِ
wattaq̣il
and fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَتُخۡفِي
wa-tukhfee
But you concealed
فِي
fee
within
نَفۡسِكَ
nafsika
yourself
مَا
mal
what
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
مُبۡدِيهِ
mubdeehi
(was to) disclose
وَتَخۡشَى
watakhshan
And you fear
ٱلنَّاسَ
naas.
the people
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
while Allah
أَحَقُّ
ʹaḥaq̣q̣u
has more right
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَخۡشَىٰهُۖ
takhshaah.
you (should) fear Him
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
So when
قَضَىٰ
q̣aḍaa
ended
زَيۡدٞ
Zaydum
Zaid
مِّنۡهَا
minhaa
from her
وَطَرٗا
wa-ṭarañ
necessary (formalities)
زَوَّجۡنَٰكَهَا
zawwajnaakahaa
We married her to you
لِكَيۡ
likay
so that
لَا
laa-
not
يَكُونَ
yakoona
there be
عَلَى
ʻalal
on
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
the believers
حَرَجٞ
ḥarajuñ
any discomfort
فِيٓ
feee
concerning
أَزۡوَٰجِ
ʹazwaaji
the wives
أَدۡعِيَآئِهِمۡ
ʹadʻiyaaaʹihim
(of) their adopted sons
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
قَضَوۡاْ
q̣aḍaw
they have ended
مِنۡهُنَّ
minhunna
from them
وَطَرٗاۚ
waṭaraa.
necessary (formalities)
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaana
And is
أَمۡرُ
ʹamrul
(the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
مَفۡعُولٗا
mafʻoolaa.
accomplished
٣٧
33:38
مَّا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
(there can) be
عَلَى
ʻalan
upon
ٱلنَّبِيِّ
Nabiyyi
the Prophet
مِنۡ
min
any
حَرَجٖ
ḥarajiñ
discomfort
فِيمَا
feemaa
in what
فَرَضَ
faraḍal
Allah has imposed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has imposed
لَهُۥۖ
lah.
on him
سُنَّةَ
Sunnatal
(That is the) Way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فِي
fil
concerning
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
خَلَوۡاْ
khalaw
passed away
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُۚ
q̣abl.
before
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaana
And is
أَمۡرُ
ʹamrul
(the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
قَدَرٗا
q̣adaram
a decree
مَّقۡدُورًا
maq̣dooraa.
destined
٣٨
33:39
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يُبَلِّغُونَ
yuballig̣oona
convey
رِسَٰلَٰتِ
Risaalaatil
(the) Messages
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَيَخۡشَوۡنَهُۥ
wa-yakhshaw-nahoo
and fear Him
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
يَخۡشَوۡنَ
yakhshawna
fear
أَحَدًا
ʹaḥadan
anyone
إِلَّا
ʹillal
except
ٱللَّهَۗ
laah.
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
Wa-kafaa
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
And sufficient is Allah
حَسِيبٗا
Ḥaseebaa.
(as) a Reckoner
٣٩
33:40
مَّا
Maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
is
مُحَمَّدٌ
Muḥammadun
Muhammad
أَبَآ
ʹabaaa
(the) father
أَحَدٖ
ʹaḥadim
(of) anyone
مِّن
mir
of
رِّجَالِكُمۡ
rijaalikum
your men
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakir
but
رَّسُولَ
Rasoolal
(he is the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَخَاتَمَ
wa-Khaataman
and Seal
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَۗ
Nabiyyeen:
(of) the Prophets
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
عَلِيمٗا
ʻAleemaa.
All-Knower
٤٠
33:41
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanuẓ
O you who believe
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
kurul
Remember
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
ذِكۡرٗا
ẓikrañ
(with) remembrance
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa;
much
٤١
33:42
وَسَبِّحُوهُ
Wa-sabbiḥoohu
And glorify Him
بُكۡرَةٗ
bukratañw
morning
وَأَصِيلًا
waʹaṣeelaa.
and evening
٤٢
33:43
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
يُصَلِّي
yuṣallee
sends His blessings
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُۥ
wa-malaaaʹikatuhoo
and His Angels
لِيُخۡرِجَكُم
liyukhrijakum
so that He may bring you out
مِّنَ
minaz̤̣
from
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
Z̤̣ulumaati
the darkness[es]
إِلَى
ʹilan
to
ٱلنُّورِۚ
Noor:
the light
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And He is
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bil-Muʹmineena
to the believers
رَحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Merciful

تَحِيَّتُهُمۡ
Taḥiyyatuhum
Their greetings
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(on the) Day
يَلۡقَوۡنَهُۥ
yalq̣awnahoo
they will meet Him
سَلَٰمٞۚ
Salaam;
(will be) Peace
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-ʹaʻadda
and He has prepared
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَجۡرٗا
ʹAjrañ
a reward
كَرِيمٗا
Kareemaa.
noble
٤٤
33:45
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
ʹarsalnaaka
have sent you
شَٰهِدٗا
Shaahidañw
(as) a witness
وَمُبَشِّرٗا
Wa-Mubashshirañw
and a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرٗا
Wa-Naẓeeraa,
and (as) a warner
٤٥
33:46
وَدَاعِيًا
Wa-Daaʻiyan
And as one who invites
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
بِإِذۡنِهِۦ
biʹiẓnihee
by His permission
وَسِرَاجٗا
wa-Siraajam
and (as) a lamp
مُّنِيرٗا
Muneeraa.
illuminating
٤٦
33:47
وَبَشِّرِ
Wa-bashshiril
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineena
(to) the believers
بِأَنَّ
biʹanna
that
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّنَ
minal
(is) from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
فَضۡلٗا
Faḍlañ
a Bounty
كَبِيرٗا
kabeeraa.
great
٤٧
33:48
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تُطِعِ
tuṭiʻil
obey
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
وَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
wal-Munaafiq̣eena
and the hypocrites
وَدَعۡ
wa-daʻ
and disregard
أَذَىٰهُمۡ
ʹaẓaahum
their harm
وَتَوَكَّلۡ
wa-tawakkal
and put your trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
in
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
Allah
وَكَفَىٰ
Wa-kafaa
And sufficient is Allah
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
And sufficient is Allah
وَكِيلٗا
Wakeelaa.
(as) a Trustee
٤٨
33:49
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
O you who believe
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
When
نَكَحۡتُمُ
nakaḥtumul
you marry
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ
Muʹminaati
believing women
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
and then
طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ
ṭallaq̣tumoohunna
divorce them
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
تَمَسُّوهُنَّ
tamassoohunna
you have touched them
فَمَا
famaa
then not
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَلَيۡهِنَّ
ʻalayhinna
on them
مِنۡ
min
any
عِدَّةٖ
ʻIddatiñ
waiting period
تَعۡتَدُّونَهَاۖ
taʻtaddoonahaa
(to) count concerning them
فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ
famattiʻoohunna
So provide for them
وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ
wa-sarriḥoo-hunna
and release them
سَرَاحٗا
saraaḥañ
(with) a release
جَمِيلٗا
jameelaa.

33:50
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O Prophet
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
O Prophet
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed We
أَحۡلَلۡنَا
ʹaḥlalnaa
[We] have made lawful
لَكَ
laka
to you
أَزۡوَٰجَكَ
ʹazwaajakal
your wives
ٱلَّٰتِيٓ
laateee
(to) whom
ءَاتَيۡتَ
ʹaatayta
you have given
أُجُورَهُنَّ
ʹujoorahunna
their bridal money
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
you rightfully possess
يَمِينُكَ
yameenuka
you rightfully possess
مِمَّآ
mimmaaa
from those (whom)
أَفَآءَ
ʹafaaaʹal
Allah has given

Allah has given
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
to you
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
عَمِّكَ
ʻammika
(of) your paternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
عَمَّٰتِكَ
ʻammaatika
(of) your paternal aunts
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
خَالِكَ
khaalika
(of) your maternal uncles
وَبَنَاتِ
wa-banaati
and (the) daughters
خَٰلَٰتِكَ
khaalaatikal
(of) your maternal aunts
ٱلَّٰتِي
laatee
who
هَاجَرۡنَ
haajarna
emigrated
مَعَكَ
maʻak:
with you
وَٱمۡرَأَةٗ
wamraʹatam
and a woman
مُّؤۡمِنَةً
Muʹminatan
believing
إِن
ʹiñw
if
وَهَبَتۡ
wahabat
she gives
نَفۡسَهَا
nafsahaa
herself
لِلنَّبِيِّ
lin-Nabiyyi
to the Prophet
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
أَرَادَ
ʹaraadan
wishes
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
the Prophet
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَسۡتَنكِحَهَا
yastañkiḥahaa;―
marry her
خَالِصَةٗ
khaaliṣatal
only
لَّكَ
laka
for you
مِن
miñ
excluding
دُونِ
doonil
excluding
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۗ
Muʹmineen;
the believers
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Certainly
عَلِمۡنَا
ʻalimnaa
We know
مَا
maa-
what
فَرَضۡنَا
faraḍnaa
We have made obligatory
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
upon them
فِيٓ
feee
concerning
أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ
ʹazwaajihim
their wives
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whom
مَلَكَتۡ
malakat
they rightfully possess
أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ
ʹaymaanuhum
they rightfully possess
لِكَيۡلَا
likaylaa
that not
يَكُونَ
yakoona
should be
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalayka
on you
حَرَجٞۗ
ḥaraj.
any discomfort
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaanal
And Allah is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
And Allah is
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
