26:2
تِلۡكَ
Tilka
These
ءَايَٰتُ
ʹAayaatul
(are the) Verses
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabil
(of) the Book
ٱلۡمُبِينِ
mubeen.
clear
٢
26:3
لَعَلَّكَ
Laʻallaka
Perhaps you
بَٰخِعٞ
baakhiʻun
(would) kill
نَّفۡسَكَ
nafsaka
yourself
أَلَّا
ʹallaa
that not
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
they become
مُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
٣
26:4
إِن
ʹIn
If
نَّشَأۡ
nashaʹ
We will
نُنَزِّلۡ
nunazzil
We can send down
عَلَيۡهِم
ʻalayhim
to them
مِّنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
ءَايَةٗ
ʹAayatañ
a Sign
فَظَلَّتۡ
faz̤̣allat
so would bend
أَعۡنَٰقُهُمۡ
ʹaʻnaaq̣uhum
their necks
لَهَا
lahaa
to it
خَٰضِعِينَ
khaaḍiʻeen.
(in) humility
٤
26:5
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And (does) not
يَأۡتِيهِم
yaʹteehim
come to them
مِّن
miñ
any
ذِكۡرٖ
Ẓikrim
reminder
مِّنَ
minar
from
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
Raḥmaani
the Most Gracious
مُحۡدَثٍ
muḥdas̤in
new
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from it
مُعۡرِضِينَ
muʻriḍeen.
turn away
٥
26:6
فَقَدۡ
Faq̣ad
So verily
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
they have denied
فَسَيَأۡتِيهِمۡ
fasayaʹteehim
then will come to them
أَنۢبَٰٓؤُاْ
ʹambaaaʹu
the news
مَا
maa-
(of) what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used
بِهِۦ
bihee
at it
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziʹoon!
(to) mock
٦
26:7
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹA-walam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
إِلَى
ʹilal
at
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
كَمۡ
kam
how many
أَنۢبَتۡنَا
ʹambatnaa
We produced
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
مِن
miñ
of
كُلِّ
kulli
every
زَوۡجٖ
zawjiñ
kind
كَرِيمٍ
kareem?
noble
٧
26:8
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
laʹAayah:
surely (is) a sign
وَمَا
wa-maa
but not
كَانَ
kaana
are
أَكۡثَرُهُم
ʹaks̤aruhum
most of them
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
٨
26:9
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
la-Huwal
surely He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
ʻAzeezur
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Raḥeem.
the Most Merciful
٩
26:10
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
نَادَىٰ
naadaa
your Lord called
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
your Lord called
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
أَنِ
ʹaniʹ
[that]
ٱئۡتِ
til
Go
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
q̣awmaz̤̣
(to) the people
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen,
(who are) wrongdoers
١٠
26:11
قَوۡمَ
Q̣awma
(The) people
فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ
Firʻawn:
(of) Firaun
أَلَا
ʹalaa
Will not
يَتَّقُونَ
yattaq̣oon?
they fear
١١
26:12
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
رَبِّ
Rabbi
My Lord
إِنِّيٓ
ʹinneee
Indeed I
أَخَافُ
ʹakhaafu
[I] fear
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُكَذِّبُونِ
yukaẓẓiboon:
they will deny me
١٢
26:13
وَيَضِيقُ
Wa-yaḍeeq̣u
And straitens
صَدۡرِي
ṣadree
my breast
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَنطَلِقُ
yañṭaliq̣u
expresses well
لِسَانِي
lisaanee
my tongue
فَأَرۡسِلۡ
faʹarsil
so send
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
for
هَٰرُونَ
Haaroon.
Harun
١٣
26:14
وَلَهُمۡ
Wa-lahum
And they have
عَلَيَّ
ʻalayya
against me
ذَنۢبٞ
ẓambuñ
a crime
فَأَخَافُ
faʹakhaafu
so I fear
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَقۡتُلُونِ
yaq̣tuloon.
they will kill me
١٤
26:15
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
كـَلَّاۖ
kallaa!
Nay
فَٱذۡهَبَا
faẓhabaa
go both of you
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۖ
biʹAayaatinaaa
with Our Signs
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed We
مَعَكُم
maʻakum
(are) with you
مُّسۡتَمِعُونَ
mustamiʻoon.
listening
١٥
26:16
فَأۡتِيَا
Faʹtiyaa
So go both of you
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
(to) Firaun
فَقُولَآ
faq̣oolaaa
and say
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
رَسُولُ
Rasoolu
(are the) Messenger
رَبِّ
Rabbil
(of the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen,
(of) the worlds
١٦
26:17
أَنۡ
ʹAn
[That]
أَرۡسِلۡ
ʹarsil
send
مَعَنَا
maʻanaa
with us
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeel.
(the) Children of Israel
١٧
26:18
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
أَلَمۡ
ʹalam
Did not
نُرَبِّكَ
nurabbika
we bring you up
فِينَا
feenaa
among us
وَلِيدٗا
waleedañw
(as) a child
وَلَبِثۡتَ
walabis̤ta
and you remained
فِينَا
feenaa
among us
مِنۡ
min
of
عُمُرِكَ
ʻumurika
your life
سِنِينَ
sineen?
years
١٨
26:19
وَفَعَلۡتَ
Wa-faʻalta
And you did
فَعۡلَتَكَ
faʻlatakal
your deed
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
فَعَلۡتَ
faʻalta
you did
وَأَنتَ
wa-ʹañta
and you
مِنَ
minal
(were) of
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireen!
the ungrateful
١٩

26:20
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَعَلۡتُهَآ
faʻaltuhaaa
I did it
إِذٗا
ʹiẓañw
when
وَأَنَا۠
Waʹana
I
مِنَ
minaḍ
(was) of
ٱلضَّآلِّينَ
ḍaaalleen.
those who are astray
٢٠
26:21
فَفَرَرۡتُ
Fafarartu
So I fled
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
from you
لَمَّا
lam-maa
when
خِفۡتُكُمۡ
khiftukum
I feared you
فَوَهَبَ
fawahaba
But granted
لِي
lee
to me
رَبِّي
Rabbee
my Lord
حُكۡمٗا
ḥukmañw
judgment
وَجَعَلَنِي
wajaʻalanee
and made me
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
mursaleen.
the Messengers
٢١
26:22
وَتِلۡكَ
Wa-tilka
And this
نِعۡمَةٞ
niʻmatuñ
(is the) favor
تَمُنُّهَا
tamunnuhaa
with which you reproach
عَلَيَّ
ʻalayya
[on] me
أَنۡ
ʹan
that
عَبَّدتَّ
ʻabbatta
you have enslaved
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeel!
(the) Children of Israel
٢٢
26:23
قَالَ
Q̣aala
Firaun said
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun said
وَمَا
wa-maa
And what
رَبُّ
Rabbul
(is the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen?
(of) the worlds
٢٣
26:24
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
رَبُّ
Rabbus
Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ
baynahumaa,
(is) between them
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُم
kuñtum
you (should) be
مُّوقِنِينَ
Mooq̣ineen.
convinced
٢٤
26:25
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
لِمَنۡ
liman
to those
حَوۡلَهُۥٓ
ḥawlahooo
around him
أَلَا
ʹalaa
Do not
تَسۡتَمِعُونَ
tastamiʻoon?
you hear
٢٥
26:26
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
رَبُّكُمۡ
Rabbukum
Your Lord
وَرَبُّ
wa-Rabbu
and (the) Lord
ءَابَآئِكُمُ
ʹaabaaaʹikumul
(of) your forefathers
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen!
(of) your forefathers
٢٦
26:27
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
رَسُولَكُمُ
rasoolakumul
your Messenger
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
who
أُرۡسِلَ
ʹursila
has been sent
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ʹilaykum
to you
لَمَجۡنُونٞ
lamajnoon!
(is) surely mad
٢٧
26:28
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
رَبُّ
Rabbul
Lord
ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ
mashriq̣i
(of) the east
وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ
wal-mag̣ribi
and the west
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ
baynahumaa!
(is) between them
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you were
تَعۡقِلُونَ
taʻq̣iloon!
(to) reason
٢٨
26:29
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
لَئِنِ
laʹinit
If
ٱتَّخَذۡتَ
takhaẓta
you take
إِلَٰهًا
ʹilaahan
a god
غَيۡرِي
g̣ayree
other than me
لَأَجۡعَلَنَّكَ
laʹajʻalannaka
I will surely make you
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمَسۡجُونِينَ
masjooneen!
those imprisoned
٢٩
26:30
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
أَوَلَوۡ
ʹawalaw
Even if
جِئۡتُكَ
jiʹtuka
I bring you
بِشَيۡءٖ
bishayʹim
something
مُّبِينٖ
mubeen?
manifest
٣٠
26:31
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
فَأۡتِ
faʹti
Then bring
بِهِۦٓ
biheee
it
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتَ
kuñta
you are
مِنَ
minaṣ
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
ṣaadiq̣een!
the truthful
٣١
26:32
فَأَلۡقَىٰ
Faʹalq̣aa
So he threw
عَصَاهُ
ʻaṣaahu
his staff
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
and behold
هِيَ
hiya
It
ثُعۡبَانٞ
s̤uʻbaanum
(was) a serpent
مُّبِينٞ
mubeen!
manifest
٣٢
26:33
وَنَزَعَ
Wa-nazaʻa
And he drew out
يَدَهُۥ
yadahoo
his hand
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
and behold
هِيَ
hiya
It
بَيۡضَآءُ
bayḍaaaʹu
(was) white
لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ
linnaaz̤̣ireen!
for the observers
٣٣
26:34
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
لِلۡمَلَإِ
lilmalaʹi
to the chiefs
حَوۡلَهُۥٓ
ḥawlahooo
around him
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
haazaa
this
لَسَٰحِرٌ
lasaaḥirun
(is) surely a magician
عَلِيمٞ
ʻaleem:
learned
٣٤
26:35
يُرِيدُ
Yureedu
He wants
أَن
ʹañy
to
يُخۡرِجَكُم
yukhrijakum
drive you out
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَرۡضِكُم
ʹarḍikum̃
your land
بِسِحۡرِهِۦ
bisiḥrihee
by his magic
فَمَاذَا
famaaẓaa
so what
تَأۡمُرُونَ
taʹmuroon?
(do) you advise
٣٥
26:36
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
أَرۡجِهۡ
ʹarjih
Postpone him
وَأَخَاهُ
wa-ʹakhaahu
and his brother
وَٱبۡعَثۡ
wabʻas̤
and send
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ
Madaaaʹini
the cities
حَٰشِرِينَ
ḥaashireen―
gatherers
٣٦
26:37
يَأۡتُوكَ
Yaʹtooka
They (will) bring to you
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
every
سَحَّارٍ
saḥ-ḥaarin
magician
عَلِيمٖ
ʻaleem.
learned
٣٧
26:38
فَجُمِعَ
Fajumiʻas
So were assembled
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
saḥaratu
the magicians
لِمِيقَٰتِ
limeeq̣aati
for (the) appointment
يَوۡمٖ
Yawmim
(on) a day
مَّعۡلُومٖ
maʻloom,
well-known
٣٨
26:39
وَقِيلَ
Wa-q̣eela
And it was said
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
to the people
هَلۡ
hal
Will
أَنتُم
ʹañtum
you
مُّجۡتَمِعُونَ
mujtamiʻoon,
assemble
٣٩

لَعَلَّنَا
Laʻallanaa
That we may
نَتَّبِعُ
nattabiʻus
follow
ٱلسَّحَرَةَ
saḥarata
the magicians
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they are
هُمُ
humul
they are
ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
g̣aalibeen?
the victorious
٤٠
26:41
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
So when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹas
came
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
saḥaratu
the magicians
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they said
لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ
li-Firʻawna
to Firaun
أَئِنَّ
ʹaʹinna
Is there
لَنَا
lanaa
for us
لَأَجۡرًا
laʹajran
a reward
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we are
نَحۡنُ
naḥnul
we are
ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
g̣aalibeen?
the victorious
٤١
26:42
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
نَعَمۡ
naʻam
Yes
وَإِنَّكُمۡ
wa-ʹinnakum
and indeed you
إِذٗا
ʹiẓal
then
لَّمِنَ
laminal
surely (will be) of
ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ
muq̣arrabeen.
the ones who are brought near
٤٢
26:43
قَالَ
Q̣aala
Said
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مُّوسَىٰٓ
Moosaaa
Musa
أَلۡقُواْ
ʹalq̣oo
Throw
مَآ
maaa
what
أَنتُم
ʹañtum
you
مُّلۡقُونَ
mulq̣oon!
(are) going to throw
٤٣
26:44
فَأَلۡقَوۡاْ
Faʹalq̣aw
So they threw
حِبَالَهُمۡ
ḥibaalahum
their ropes
وَعِصِيَّهُمۡ
wa-ʻiṣiyyahum
and their staffs
وَقَالُواْ
wa-q̣aaloo
and said
بِعِزَّةِ
biʻizzati
By the might
فِرۡعَوۡنَ
Firʻawna
(of) Firaun
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
indeed we
لَنَحۡنُ
lanaḥnul
surely we
ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
g̣aaliboon!
(are) the victorious
٤٤
26:45
فَأَلۡقَىٰ
Faʹalq̣aa
Then threw
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
عَصَاهُ
ʻaṣaahu
his staff
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
and behold
هِيَ
hiya
It
تَلۡقَفُ
talq̣afu
swallowed
مَا
maa-
what
يَأۡفِكُونَ
yaʹfikoon!
they falsified
٤٥
26:46
فَأُلۡقِيَ
Faʹulq̣iyas
Then fell down
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
saḥaratu
the magicians
سَٰجِدِينَ
saajideen.
prostrate
٤٦
26:47
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
We believe
بِرَبِّ
bi-Rabbil
in (the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen.
(of) the worlds
٤٧
26:48
رَبِّ
Rabbi
Lord
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
(of) Musa
وَهَٰرُونَ
wa-Haaroon.
and Harun
٤٨
26:49
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
ءَامَنتُمۡ
ʹaamañtum
You believed
لَهُۥ
lahoo
in him
قَبۡلَ
q̣abla
before
أَنۡ
ʹan
[that]
ءَاذَنَ
ʹaaẓana
I gave permission
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum?
to you
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed he
لَكَبِيرُكُمُ
lakabeerukumul
(is) surely your chief
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
who
عَلَّمَكُمُ
ʻallamakumus
has taught you
ٱلسِّحۡرَ
siḥr!
the magic
فَلَسَوۡفَ
Falasawfa
so surely soon
تَعۡلَمُونَۚ
taʻlamoon!
you will know
لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ
Laʹuq̣aṭṭiʻanna
I will surely cut off
أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ
ʹaydiyakum
your hands
وَأَرۡجُلَكُم
wa-ʹarjulakum
and your feet
مِّنۡ
min
of
خِلَٰفٖ
khilaafiñw
opposite sides
وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ
walaʹuṣallibannakum
and I will surely crucify you
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ʹajmaʻeen!
all
٤٩
26:50
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
لَا
laa-
No
ضَيۡرَۖ
ḍayra
harm
إِنَّآ
ʹinnaaa
Indeed we
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّنَا
Rabbinaa
our Lord
مُنقَلِبُونَ
muñq̣aliboon!
(will) return
٥٠
