Tabaarakal
Blessed is He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
Who
نَزَّلَ
nazzalal
sent down
ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ
Furq̣aana
the Criterion
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
عَبۡدِهِۦ
ʻAbdihee
His slave
لِيَكُونَ
liyakoona
that he may be
لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
lilʻaalameena
to the worlds
نَذِيرًا
naẓeeraa;
a warner
١
25:2
ٱلَّذِي
ʹAllaẓee
The One Who
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to Him (belongs)
مُلۡكُ
mulkus
(the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
walʹarḍi
and the earth
وَلَمۡ
wa-lam
and not
يَتَّخِذۡ
yattakhiẓ
He has taken
وَلَدٗا
waladañw
a son
وَلَمۡ
walam
and not
يَكُن
yakul
He has
لَّهُۥ
lahoo
for Him
شَرِيكٞ
shareekuñ
a partner
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡمُلۡكِ
mulki
the dominion
وَخَلَقَ
wa-khalaq̣a
and He (has) created
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
faq̣addarahoo
and determined it
تَقۡدِيرٗا
taq̣deeraa.
(with) determination

وَٱتَّخَذُواْ
Wattakhaẓoo
Yet they have taken
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦٓ
dooniheee
besides Him
ءَالِهَةٗ
ʹaalihatal
gods
لَّا
laa
not
يَخۡلُقُونَ
yakhluq̣oona
they create
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
anything
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يُخۡلَقُونَ
yukhlaq̣oona
are created
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikoona
they possess
لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ
liʹañfusihim
for themselves
ضَرّٗا
ḍarrañw
any harm
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَفۡعٗا
nafʻañw
any benefit
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikoona
they control
مَوۡتٗا
Mawtañw
death
وَلَا
Walaa
and not
حَيَوٰةٗ
Ḥayaatañw
life
وَلَا
Walaa
and not
نُشُورٗا
Nu-Shooraa.
resurrection
٣
25:4
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laaẓeena
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieve
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
this
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
(is) but
إِفۡكٌ
ʹifkunif
a lie
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُ
taraahu
he invented it
وَأَعَانَهُۥ
wa-ʹaʻaanahoo
and helped him
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
at it
قَوۡمٌ
q̣awmun
people
ءَاخَرُونَۖ
ʹaakharoona
other
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
But verily
جَآءُو
jaaaʹoo
they (have) produced
ظُلۡمٗا
z̤̣ulmañw
an injustice
وَزُورٗا
wazooraa.
and a lie
٤
25:5
وَقَالُوٓاْ
Wa-q̣aalooo
And they say
أَسَٰطِيرُ
ʹasaaṭeerul
Tales
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleenak
(of) the former people
ٱكۡتَتَبَهَا
tatabahaa
which he has had written
فَهِيَ
fahiya
and they
تُمۡلَىٰ
tumlaa
are dictated
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
to him
بُكۡرَةٗ
bukratañw
morning
وَأَصِيلٗا
waʹaṣeelaa.
and evening
٥
25:6
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَنزَلَهُ
ʹañzalahul
Has sent it down
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One Who
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamus
knows
ٱلسِّرَّ
Sirra
the secret
فِي
fis
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ:
and the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed He
كَانَ
kaana
is
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
٦
25:7
وَقَالُواْ
Wa-q̣aaloo
And they say
مَالِ
maa-li
Why does
هَٰذَا
haaẓar
this
ٱلرَّسُولِ
Rasooli
Messenger
يَأۡكُلُ
yaʹkuluṭ
eat
ٱلطَّعَامَ
ṭaʻaama
[the] food
وَيَمۡشِي
wa-yamshee
and walk
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِ
ʹaswaaq̣?
the markets
لَوۡلَآ
Law-Laaa
Why not
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
is sent down
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to him
مَلَكٞ
malakuñ
an Angel
فَيَكُونَ
fayakoona
then he be
مَعَهُۥ
maʻahoo
with him
نَذِيرًا
naẓeeraa?
a warner
٧
25:8
أَوۡ
ʹAw
Or
يُلۡقَىٰٓ
yulq̣aaa
is delivered
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to him
كَنزٌ
kañzun
a treasure
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
تَكُونُ
takoonu
is
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
جَنَّةٞ
jannatuñy
a garden
يَأۡكُلُ
yaʹkulu
he may eat
مِنۡهَاۚ
minhaa?
from it
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalaz̤̣
And say
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoona
the wrongdoers
إِن
ʹiñ
Not
تَتَّبِعُونَ
tattabiʻoona
you follow
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
رَجُلٗا
rajulam
a man
مَّسۡحُورًا
mas-ḥooraa.
bewitched
٨
25:9
ٱنظُرۡ
ʹUñz̤̣ur
See
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
ضَرَبُواْ
ḍaraboo
they set forth
لَكَ
lakal
for you
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَ
ʹams̤aala
the similitudes
فَضَلُّواْ
faḍalloo
but they have gone astray
فَلَا
falaa
so not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastaṭeeʻoona
they are able (to find)
سَبِيلٗا
sabeelaa!
a way
٩
25:10
تَبَارَكَ
Tabaarakal
Blessed is He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
Who
إِن
ʹiñ
if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
He willed
جَعَلَ
jaʻala
(could have) made
لَكَ
laka
for you
خَيۡرٗا
khayram
better
مِّن
miñ
than
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatin
gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flow
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
ʹanhaaru
the rivers
وَيَجۡعَل
wa-yajʻal
and He (could) make
لَّكَ
laka
for you
قُصُورَۢا
Q̣uṣooraa.
palaces
١٠
25:11
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
they deny
بِٱلسَّاعَةِۖ
bis-Saaʻati
the Hour
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-ʹaʻtadnaa
and We have prepared
لِمَن
limañ
for (those) who
كَذَّبَ
kaẓẓaba
deny
بِٱلسَّاعَةِ
bis-Saaʻati
the Hour
سَعِيرًا
Saʻeeraa:
a Blazing Fire

إِذَا
ʹIẓaa
When
رَأَتۡهُم
raʹathum
it sees them
مِّن
mim
from
مَّكَانِۭ
makaanim
a place
بَعِيدٖ
baʻeediñ
far
سَمِعُواْ
samiʻoo
they will hear
لَهَا
lahaa
its
تَغَيُّظٗا
tag̣ayyuz̤̣añw
raging
وَزَفِيرٗا
wazafeeraa.
and roaring
١٢
25:13
وَإِذَآ
Wa-ʹiẓaaa
And when
أُلۡقُواْ
ʹulq̣oo
they are thrown
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
thereof
مَكَانٗا
makaanañ
(in) a place
ضَيِّقٗا
ḍayyiq̣am
narrow
مُّقَرَّنِينَ
muq̣arraneena
bound in chains
دَعَوۡاْ
daʻaw
they will call
هُنَالِكَ
hunaalika
there
ثُبُورٗا
s̤ubooraa!
(for) destruction
١٣
25:14
لَّا
Laa-
(Do) not
تَدۡعُواْ
tadʻul
call
ٱلۡيَوۡمَ
yawma
this day
ثُبُورٗا
s̤uboorañw
(for) destruction
وَٰحِدٗا
waaḥidañw
one
وَٱدۡعُواْ
wadʻoo
but call
ثُبُورٗا
s̤uboorañ
(for) destructions
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa!
many
١٤
25:15
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَذَٰلِكَ
ʹaẓaalika
Is that
خَيۡرٌ
khayrun
better
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
جَنَّةُ
jannatul
Garden
ٱلۡخُلۡدِ
khuldil
(of) Eternity
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
وُعِدَ
wuʻidal
is promised
ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۚ
Muttaq̣oon?
(to) the righteous
كَانَتۡ
Kaanat
It will be
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَزَآءٗ
jazaaaʹañw
a reward
وَمَصِيرٗا
wamaseeraa.
and destination
١٥
25:16
لَّهُمۡ
Lahum
For them
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
مَا
maa-
(is) whatever
يَشَآءُونَ
yashaaaʹoona
they wish
خَٰلِدِينَۚ
khaalideen:
they will abide forever
كَانَ
kaana
It is
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
وَعۡدٗا
waʻdam
a promise
مَّسۡـُٔولٗا
masʹoolaa.
requested
١٦
25:17
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
yaḥshuruhum
He will gather them
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
يَعۡبُدُونَ
yaʻbudoona
they worship
مِن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
فَيَقُولُ
fayaq̣oolu
and He will say
ءَأَنتُمۡ
ʹAʹañtum
Did you
أَضۡلَلۡتُمۡ
ʹaḍlaltum
[you] mislead
عِبَادِي
ʻibaadee
My slaves
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
هُمۡ
hum
they
ضَلُّواْ
ḍallus
went astray
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
Sabeel?˺
(from) the way
١٧
25:18
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They say
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
˹Subḥaanaka
Glory be to You
مَا
maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
it was proper
يَنۢبَغِي
yambag̣ee
it was proper
لَنَآ
lanaaa
for us
أَن
ʹan
that
نَّتَّخِذَ
nattakhiẓa
we take
مِن
miñ
besides You
دُونِكَ
doonika
besides You
مِنۡ
min
any
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹa
protectors
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakim
But
مَّتَّعۡتَهُمۡ
mattaʻtahum
You gave them comforts
وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ
wa-ʹaabaaaʹahum
and their forefathers
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
نَسُواْ
nasuẓ
they forgot
ٱلذِّكۡرَ
Ẓikr:
the Message
وَكَانُواْ
wa-kaanoo
and became
قَوۡمَۢا
q̣awmam
a people
بُورٗا
booraa.
ruined
١٨
25:19
فَقَدۡ
Faq̣ad
So verily
كَذَّبُوكُم
kaẓẓabookum̃
they deny you
بِمَا
bimaa
in what
تَقُولُونَ
taq̣ooloona
you say
فَمَا
famaa
so not
تَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
tastaṭeeʻoona
you are able
صَرۡفٗا
ṣarfañw
(to) avert
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَصۡرٗاۚ
naṣraa.
(to) help
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَظۡلِم
yaz̤̣lim
does wrong
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
نُذِقۡهُ
nuẓiq̣hu
We will make him taste
عَذَابٗا
ʻAẓaabañ
a punishment
كَبِيرٗا
kabeeraa.
great
١٩
25:20
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
ʹarsalnaa
We sent
قَبۡلَكَ
q̣ablaka
before you
مِنَ
minal
any
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
mursaleena
Messengers
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
but
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
indeed they
لَيَأۡكُلُونَ
layaʹkuloonaṭ
[surely] ate
ٱلطَّعَامَ
ṭaʻaama
food
وَيَمۡشُونَ
wa-yamshoona
and walked
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِۗ
ʹaswaaq̣:
the markets
وَجَعَلۡنَا
wa-jaʻalnaa
And We have made
بَعۡضَكُمۡ
baʻḍakum
some of you
لِبَعۡضٖ
libaʻḍiñ
for others
فِتۡنَةً
fitnah:
a trial
أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ
ʹataṣbiroon?
will you have patience
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaana
And is
رَبُّكَ
Rabbuka
your Lord
بَصِيرٗا
Baṣeeraa.
All-Seer

25:21
۞وَقَالَ
Waq̣aalal
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjoona
expect
لِقَآءَنَا
Liq̣aaaʹanaa
(the) meeting with Us
لَوۡلَآ
Law-laaa
Why not
أُنزِلَ
ʹuñzila
are sent down
عَلَيۡنَا
ʻalaynal
to us
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
malaaaʹikatu
the Angels
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَرَىٰ
naraa
we see
رَبَّنَاۗ
Rabbanaa?
our Lord
لَقَدِ
Laq̣adis
Indeed
ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
takbaroo
they have become arrogant
فِيٓ
feee
within
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
وَعَتَوۡ
wa-ʻataw
and (become) insolent
عُتُوّٗا
ʻutuwwañ
(with) insolence
كَبِيرٗا
kabeeraa!
great
٢١
25:22
يَوۡمَ
Yawma
(The) Day
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawnal
they see
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
malaaaʹikata
the Angels
لَا
laa-
no
بُشۡرَىٰ
bushraa
glad tidings
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
Yawmaʹiẓil
(will be) that Day
لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
lil-mujrimeena
for the criminals
وَيَقُولُونَ
wa-yaq̣ooloona
and they will say
حِجۡرٗا
ḥijram
A partition
مَّحۡجُورٗا
maḥjooraa!
forbidden
٢٢
25:23
وَقَدِمۡنَآ
Wa-q̣adimnaaa
And We will proceed
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مَا
maa-
whatever
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamiloo
they did
مِنۡ
min
of
عَمَلٖ
ʻamaliñ
(the) deed(s)
فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ
fajaʻalnaahu
and We will make them
هَبَآءٗ
habaaaʹam
(as) dust
مَّنثُورًا
mañs̤ooraa.
dispersed
٢٣
25:24
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabul
(The) companions
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannati
(of) Paradise
يَوۡمَئِذٍ
Yawmaʹiẓin
that Day
خَيۡرٞ
khayrum
(will be in) a better
مُّسۡتَقَرّٗا
mustaq̣arrañw
abode
وَأَحۡسَنُ
waʹaḥsanu
and a better
مَقِيلٗا
maq̣eelaa.
resting-place
٢٤
25:25
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
تَشَقَّقُ
tashaq̣q̣aq̣us
will split open
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
samaaaʹu
the heavens
بِٱلۡغَمَٰمِ
bilg̣amaami
with the clouds
وَنُزِّلَ
wa-nuzzilal
and (will be) sent down
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
malaaaʹikatu
the Angels
تَنزِيلًا
tañzeelaa,
descending
٢٥
25:26
ٱلۡمُلۡكُ
ʹAlmulku
The Sovereignty
يَوۡمَئِذٍ
Yawmaʹiẓinil
that Day
ٱلۡحَقُّ
ḥaq̣q̣u
(will be) truly
لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ
lir-Raḥmaan:
for the Most Gracious
وَكَانَ
wa-kaana
And (it will) be
يَوۡمًا
Yawman
a Day
عَلَى
ʻalal
for
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
عَسِيرٗا
ʻaseeraa.
difficult
٢٦
25:27
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يَعَضُّ
yaʻaḍḍuz̤̣
will bite
ٱلظَّالِمُ
z̤̣aalimu
the wrongdoer
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
[on]
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
his hands
يَقُولُ
yaq̣oolu
he will say
يَٰلَيۡتَنِي
yaa-laytanit
O I wish
ٱتَّخَذۡتُ
takhaẓtu
I had taken
مَعَ
maʻar
with
ٱلرَّسُولِ
Rasooli
the Messenger
سَبِيلٗا
sabeelaa!
a way
٢٧
25:28
يَٰوَيۡلَتَىٰ
Yaa-waylataa
O woe to me
لَيۡتَنِي
laytanee
I wish
لَمۡ
lam
not
أَتَّخِذۡ
ʹattakhiẓ
I had taken
فُلَانًا
fulaanan
that one
خَلِيلٗا
khaleelaa!
(as) a friend
٢٨
25:29
لَّقَدۡ
Laq̣ad
Verily
أَضَلَّنِي
ʹaḍallanee
he led me astray
عَنِ
ʻaniẓ
from
ٱلذِّكۡرِ
Ẓikri
the Reminder
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
[when]
جَآءَنِيۗ
jaaaʹanee!
it (had) come to me
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaanash
And is
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
the Shaitaan
لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ
lil-ʹiñsaani
to the man
خَذُولٗا
khaẓoolaa!
a deserter
٢٩
25:30
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalar
And said
ٱلرَّسُولُ
Rasoolu
the Messenger
يَٰرَبِّ
yaa-Rabbi
O my Lord
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
قَوۡمِي
q̣awmit
my people
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
takhaẓoo
took
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
Q̣urʹaana
the Quran
مَهۡجُورٗا
mahjooraa.
(as) a forsaken thing
٣٠
25:31
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
Wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnaa
We have made
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for every
نَبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
Prophet
عَدُوّٗا
ʻaduwwam
an enemy
مِّنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَۗ
mujrimeen:
the criminals
وَكَفَىٰ
wa-kafaa
But sufficient is
بِرَبِّكَ
bi-Rabbika
your Lord
هَادِيٗا
Haadiyañw
(as) a Guide
وَنَصِيرٗا
Wa-Naṣeeraa.
and a Helper
٣١
25:32
وَقَالَ
Wa-q̣aalal
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لَوۡلَا
law-laa
Why not
نُزِّلَ
nuzzila
was revealed
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhil
to him
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
Q̣urʹaanu
the Quran
جُمۡلَةٗ
jumlatañw
all at once
وَٰحِدَةٗۚ
Waaḥidah?
all at once
كَذَٰلِكَ
Kaẓaalika
Thus
لِنُثَبِّتَ
linus̤abbita
that We may strengthen
بِهِۦ
bihee
thereby
فُؤَادَكَۖ
fuʹaadaka
your heart
وَرَتَّلۡنَٰهُ
wa-rattalnaahu
and We have recited it
تَرۡتِيلٗا
tarteelaa.
(with distinct) recitation

وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
يَأۡتُونَكَ
yaʹtoonaka
they come to you
بِمَثَلٍ
bimas̤alin
with an example
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
جِئۡنَٰكَ
jiʹnaaka
We bring you
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-Ḥaq̣q̣i
the truth
وَأَحۡسَنَ
wa-ʹaḥsana
and (the) best
تَفۡسِيرًا
tafseeraa.

25:34
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يُحۡشَرُونَ
yuḥsharoona
will be gathered
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
وُجُوهِهِمۡ
wujoohihim
their faces
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
جَهَنَّمَ
Jahannama
Hell
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹulaaaʹika
those
شَرّٞ
sharrum
(are the) worst
مَّكَانٗا
makanañw
(in) position
وَأَضَلُّ
waʹaḍallu
and most astray
سَبِيلٗا
Sabeelaa.
(from the) way
٣٤
25:35
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
ءَاتَيۡنَا
ʹaataynaa
We gave
مُوسَى
Moosal
Musa
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Scripture
وَجَعَلۡنَا
wa-jaʻalnaa
and We appointed
مَعَهُۥٓ
maʻahooo
with him
أَخَاهُ
ʹakhaahu
his brother
هَٰرُونَ
Haaroona
Harun
وَزِيرٗا
Wazeeraa;
(as) an assistant
٣٥
25:36
فَقُلۡنَا
Faq̣ulnaẓ
Then We said
ٱذۡهَبَآ
habaaa
Go both of you

ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
q̣awmil
the people
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓaboo
have denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa:
Our Signs
فَدَمَّرۡنَٰهُمۡ
fadammarnaahum
Then We destroyed them
تَدۡمِيرٗا
tadmeeraa.
(with) destruction
٣٦
25:37
وَقَوۡمَ
Wa-q̣awma
And (the) people
نُوحٖ
Nooḥil
(of) Nuh
لَّمَّا
lammaa
when
كَذَّبُواْ
kaẓẓabur
they denied
ٱلرُّسُلَ
rusula
the Messengers
أَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
ʹag̣raq̣naahum
We drowned them
وَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
wa-jaʻalnaahum
and We made them
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
for mankind
ءَايَةٗۖ
ʹAayah;
a sign
وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا
wa-ʹaʻtadnaa
And We have prepared
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
liz̤̣z̤̣aalimeena
for the wrongdoers
عَذَابًا
ʻAẓaaban
a punishment
أَلِيمٗا
ʹaleemaa;
painful
٣٧
25:38
وَعَادٗا
Wa-ʻAadañw
And Ad
وَثَمُودَاْ
Wa-S̤amooda
and Thamud
وَأَصۡحَٰبَ
wa-ʹAṣḥaabar
and (the) dwellers
ٱلرَّسِّ
Rassi
(of) Ar-rass
وَقُرُونَۢا
wa-q̣uroonam
and generations
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa.
many
٣٨
25:39
وَكُلّٗا
Wa-kullañ
And each
ضَرَبۡنَا
ḍarabnaa
We have set forth
لَهُ
lahul
for him
ٱلۡأَمۡثَٰلَۖ
ʹams̤aala
the examples
وَكُلّٗا
wa-kullañ
and each
تَبَّرۡنَا
tabbarnaa
We destroyed
تَتۡبِيرٗا
tatbeeraa.
(with) destruction
٣٩
25:40
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
أَتَوۡاْ
ʹataw
they have come
عَلَى
ʻalal
upon
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
q̣aryatil
the town
ٱلَّتِيٓ
lateee
which
أُمۡطِرَتۡ
ʹumṭirat
was showered
مَطَرَ
maṭaras
(with) a rain
ٱلسَّوۡءِۚ
sawʹ:
(of) evil
أَفَلَمۡ
ʹafalam
Then do not
يَكُونُواْ
yakoonoo
they [were]
يَرَوۡنَهَاۚ
yarawnahaa?
see it
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they are
لَا
laa-
not
يَرۡجُونَ
yarjoona
expecting
نُشُورٗا
Nushooraa.
Resurrection
٤٠
25:41
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
رَأَوۡكَ
raʹawka
they see you
إِن
ʹiñy
not
يَتَّخِذُونَكَ
yattakhiẓoonaka
they take you
إِلَّا
illaa
except
هُزُوًا
huzuwaa:˹
(in) mockery
أَهَٰذَا
ʹahaaẓal
Is this
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the one whom
بَعَثَ
baʻas̤al
Allah has sent
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has sent
رَسُولًا
rasoolaa?
(as) a Messenger
٤١
25:42
إِن
ʹIñ
He would have almost
كَادَ
kaada
He would have almost
لَيُضِلُّنَا
layuḍillunaa
[surely] misled us
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
ءَالِهَتِنَا
ʹaalihatinaa
our gods
لَوۡلَآ
Law-laaa
if not
أَن
ʹañ
that
صَبَرۡنَا
ṣabarnaa
we had been steadfast
عَلَيۡهَاۚ
ʻalayhaa!˺
to them
وَسَوۡفَ
Wa-sawfa
And soon
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoona
will know
حِينَ
ḥeena
when
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawnal
they will see
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ʻAẓaaba
the punishment
مَنۡ
man
who
أَضَلُّ
ʹaḍallu
(is) more astray
سَبِيلًا
Sabeelaa!
(from the) way
٤٢
25:43
أَرَءَيۡتَ
ʹAraʹayta
Have you seen
مَنِ
manit
(one) who
ٱتَّخَذَ
takhaẓa
takes
إِلَٰهَهُۥ
ʹilaahahoo
(as) his god
هَوَىٰهُ
hawaah?
his own desire
أَفَأَنتَ
ʹA-faʹañta
Then would you
تَكُونُ
takoonu
be
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
over him
وَكِيلًا
wakeelaa?
a guardian

أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
تَحۡسَبُ
taḥsabu
do you think
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ
ʹaks̤arahum
most of them
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasmaʻoona
hear
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
يَعۡقِلُونَۚ
yaʻq̣iloon?
understand
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
هُمۡ
hum
they
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(are) except
كَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
kal-ʹanʻaami
like cattle
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُمۡ
hum
they
أَضَلُّ
ʹaḍallu
(are) more astray
سَبِيلًا
Sabeelaa.
(from the) way
٤٤
25:45
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do you not
تَرَ
tara
see
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
[to]
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
your Lord
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
مَدَّ
maddaz̤̣-
He extends
ٱلظِّلَّ
Z̤̣ill!
the shadow
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹa
He willed
لَجَعَلَهُۥ
lajaʻalahoo
surely He (could) have made it
سَاكِنٗا
saakinaa!
stationary
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnash
We made
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
shamsa
the sun
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
for it
دَلِيلٗا
daleelaa;
an indication
٤٥
25:46
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
قَبَضۡنَٰهُ
q̣abaḍnaahu
We withdraw it
إِلَيۡنَا
ʹilaynaa
to Us
قَبۡضٗا
q̣abḍañy
a withdrawal
يَسِيرٗا
yaseeraa.
gradual
٤٦
25:47
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَ
jaʻala
made
لَكُمُ
lakumul
for you
ٱلَّيۡلَ
Layla
the night
لِبَاسٗا
libaasañw
(as) a covering
وَٱلنَّوۡمَ
wan-Nawma
and the sleep
سُبَاتٗا
subaatañw
a rest
وَجَعَلَ
wajaʻalan
and made
ٱلنَّهَارَ
Nahaara
the day
نُشُورٗا
Nushooraa.
a resurrection
٤٧
25:48
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِيٓ
laẓeee
(is) the One Who
أَرۡسَلَ
ʹarsalar
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
Riyaaḥa
the winds
بُشۡرَۢا
bushram
(as) glad tidings
بَيۡنَ
bayna
before
يَدَيۡ
yaday
before
رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ
Raḥmatih,
His Mercy
وَأَنزَلۡنَا
wa-ʹañzalnaa
and We send down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
مَآءٗ
maaaʹañ
water
طَهُورٗا
ṭahooraa,
pure
٤٨
25:49
لِّنُحۡـِۧيَ
Linuḥyiya
That We may give life
بِهِۦ
bihee
thereby
بَلۡدَةٗ
baldatam
(to) a land
مَّيۡتٗا
maytañw
dead
وَنُسۡقِيَهُۥ
wanusq̣iyahoo
and We give drink
مِمَّا
mimmaa
thereof
خَلَقۡنَآ
khalaq̣naaa
(to those) We created
أَنۡعَٰمٗا
ʹanʻaamañw
cattle
وَأَنَاسِيَّ
Waʹanaasiyya
and men
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeraa.
many
٤٩
25:50
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And verily
صَرَّفۡنَٰهُ
ṣarrafnaahu
We have distributed it
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
among them
لِيَذَّكَّرُواْ
liyaẓẓakkaroo,
that they may remember
فَأَبَىٰٓ
faʹabaaa
but refuse
أَكۡثَرُ
ʹaks̤arun
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
(of) the people
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
كُفُورٗا
kufooraa.
disbelief
