ﲪﲫﲮﲴ
47:1
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wa-ṣaddoo
and turn away
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) way of Allah
أَضَلَّ
ʹaḍalla
He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
١
47:2
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
righteous deeds
وَءَامَنُواْ
wa-ʹaamanoo
and believe
بِمَا
bimaa
in what
نُزِّلَ
nuzzila
is revealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
to
مُحَمَّدٖ
MUḤAMMADIÑ-W
Muhammad
وَهُوَ
Wahuwal
and it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
Ḥaq̣q̣u
(is) the truth
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim
their Lord
كَفَّرَ
kaffara
He will remove
عَنۡهُمۡ
ʻanhum
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiʹaatihim
their misdeeds
وَأَصۡلَحَ
wa-ʹaṣlaḥa
and improve
بَالَهُمۡ
baalahum.
their condition
٢
47:3
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّ
biʹannal
(is) because
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafarut
disbelieve
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
tabaʻul
follow
ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ
baaṭila
falsehood
وَأَنَّ
wa-ʹannal
and that
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanut
believe
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
tabaʻul
follow
ٱلۡحَقَّ
Ḥaq̣q̣a
(the) truth
مِن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِمۡۚ
Rabbihim:
their Lord
كَذَٰلِكَ
kaẓaalika
Thus
يَضۡرِبُ
yaḍribul
Allah presents
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah presents
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
to the people
أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹams̤aalahum.
their similitudes
٣
47:4
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
So when
لَقِيتُمُ
laq̣eetumul
you meet
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
فَضَرۡبَ
faḍarbar
then strike
ٱلرِّقَابِ
riq̣aab;
the necks
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَآ
ʹiẓaaa
when
أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ
ʹas̤khañtumoohum
you have subdued them
فَشُدُّواْ
fashuddul
then bind firmly
ٱلۡوَثَاقَ
was̤aaq̣a
the bond
فَإِمَّا
faʹimmaa
then either
مَنَّۢا
mannam
a favor
بَعۡدُ
baʻdu
afterwards
وَإِمَّا
wa-ʹimmaa
or
فِدَآءً
fidaaaʹan
ransom
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تَضَعَ
taḍaʻal
lays down
ٱلۡحَرۡبُ
ḥarbu
the war
أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ
ʹawzaarahaa.
its burdens
ذَٰلِكَۖ
Ẓaalika
That
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
And if
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹul
Allah had willed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah had willed
لَٱنتَصَرَ
lañtaṣara
surely He could have taken retribution
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
from them
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakil
but
لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ
liyabluwa
to test
بَعۡضَكُم
baʻḍakum̃
some of you
بِبَعۡضٖۗ
bibaʻḍ.
with others
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
And those who
قُتِلُواْ
q̣utiloo
are killed
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) way of Allah
فَلَن
falañy
then never
يُضِلَّ
yuḍilla
He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
٤
47:5
سَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ
Sayahdeehim
He will guide them
وَيُصۡلِحُ
wa-yuṣliḥu
and improve
بَالَهُمۡ
baalahum,―
their condition
٥
47:6
وَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
Wayudkhiluhumul
And admit them
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Jannata
(to) Paradise
عَرَّفَهَا
ʻarrafahaa
He has made it known
لَهُمۡ
lahum.
to them
٦
47:7
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
O you who believe
إِن
ʹiñ
If
تَنصُرُواْ
tañṣurul
you help
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَنصُرۡكُمۡ
yañṣurkum
He will help you
وَيُثَبِّتۡ
wa-yus̤abbit
and make firm
أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ
ʹaq̣daamakum.
your feet
٧
47:8
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeena
But those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
فَتَعۡسٗا
fataʻsal
destruction (is)
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَأَضَلَّ
wa-ʹaḍalla
and He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
٨
47:9
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because they
كَرِهُواْ
karihoo
hate
مَآ
maaa
what
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzalal
Allah has revealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has revealed
فَأَحۡبَطَ
faʹaḥbaṭa
so He has made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
٩
47:10
۞أَفَلَمۡ
ʹAfalam
Do not
يَسِيرُواْ
yaseeroo
they travel
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
فَيَنظُرُواْ
fayañz̤̣uroo
and see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
ʻAaq̣ibatul
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those
مِن
miñ
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ
q̣ablihim?
before them
دَمَّرَ
Dammaral
Allah destroyed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah destroyed
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
ʻalayhim,
[over] them
وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
wa-lilkaafireena
and for the disbelievers
أَمۡثَٰلُهَا
ʹams̤aaluhaa.
its likeness
١٠
47:11
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّ
biʹannal
(is) because
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مَوۡلَى
Mawlal
(is the) Protector
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَأَنَّ
waʹannal
and that
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
kaafireena
the disbelievers
لَا
laa-
(there is) no
مَوۡلَىٰ
mawlaa
protector
لَهُمۡ
lahum.
for them
١١

47:12
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُدۡخِلُ
yudkhilul
will admit
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
righteous deeds
جَنَّٰتٖ
Jannaatiñ
(to) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajree
flow
مِن
miñ
from
تَحۡتِهَا
taḥtihal
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ
ʹanhaar;
the rivers
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wallaẓeena
but those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
يَتَمَتَّعُونَ
yatamattaʻoona
they enjoy
وَيَأۡكُلُونَ
wa-yaʹkuloona
and eat
كَمَا
kamaa
as
تَأۡكُلُ
taʹkulul
eat
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ
ʹanʻaamu
the cattle
وَٱلنَّارُ
wan-Naaru
and the Fire
مَثۡوٗى
mas̤wal
(will be) an abode
لَّهُمۡ
lahum.
for them
١٢
47:13
وَكَأَيِّن
Wa-kaʹayyim
And how many
مِّن
miñ
of
قَرۡيَةٍ
q̣aryatin
a town
هِيَ
hiya
which
أَشَدُّ
ʹashaddu
(was) stronger
قُوَّةٗ
q̣uwwatam
(in) strength
مِّن
miñ
than
قَرۡيَتِكَ
q̣aryatikal
your town
ٱلَّتِيٓ
lateee
which
أَخۡرَجَتۡكَ
ʹakhrajatka:
has driven you out
أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡ
ʹAhlaknaahum
We destroyed them
فَلَا
falaa
so no
نَاصِرَ
naaṣira
helper
لَهُمۡ
lahum.
for them
١٣
47:14
أَفَمَن
ʹAfamañ
Then is (he) who
كَانَ
kaana
is
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
بَيِّنَةٖ
Bayyinatim
a clear proof
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
Rabbihee
his Lord
كَمَن
kamañ
like (he) who
زُيِّنَ
zuyyina
is made attractive
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to him
سُوٓءُ
soooʹu
(the) evil
عَمَلِهِۦ
ʻamalihee
(of) his deeds
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ
wattabaʻooo
while they follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُم
ʹahwaaaʹahum?
their desires
١٤
47:15
مَّثَلُ
Mas̤alul
A parable
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ
Jannatil
(of) Paradise
ٱلَّتِي
latee
which
وُعِدَ
wuʻidal
is promised
ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَۖ
Muttaq̣oon:
(to) the righteous
فِيهَآ
feehaaa
Therein
أَنۡهَٰرٞ
ʹanhaarum
(are) rivers
مِّن
mim
of
مَّآءٍ
maaaʹin
water
غَيۡرِ
g̣ayri
not
ءَاسِنٖ
ʹaasin;
polluted
وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ
wa-ʹanhaarum
and rivers
مِّن
mil
of
لَّبَنٖ
labanil
milk
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَتَغَيَّرۡ
yatag̣ayyar
changes
طَعۡمُهُۥ
ṭaʻmuh;
its taste
وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ
wa-ʹanhaarum
and rivers
مِّنۡ
min
of
خَمۡرٖ
khamril
wine
لَّذَّةٖ
laẓẓatil
delicious
لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ
lishshaaribeen;
for (the) drinkers
وَأَنۡهَٰرٞ
wa-ʹanhaarum
and rivers
مِّنۡ
min
of
عَسَلٖ
ʻasalim
honey
مُّصَفّٗىۖ
muṣaffaa.
purified
وَلَهُمۡ
Wa-lahum
and for them
فِيهَا
feehaa
therein
مِن
miñ
of
كُلِّ
kullis̤
all
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
s̤amaraati
fruits
وَمَغۡفِرَةٞ
wa-mag̣firatum
and forgiveness
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِمۡۖ
Rabbihim:
their Lord
كَمَنۡ
Kaman
like he who
هُوَ
huwa
like he who
خَٰلِدٞ
khaaliduñ
(will) abide forever
فِي
fin
in
ٱلنَّارِ
Naari
the Fire
وَسُقُواْ
wa-suq̣oo
and they will be given to drink
مَآءً
maaaʹan
water
حَمِيمٗا
ḥameemañ
boiling
فَقَطَّعَ
faq̣aṭṭaʹa
so it cuts into pieces
أَمۡعَآءَهُمۡ
ʹamʻaaaʹahum?
their intestines
١٥
47:16
وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّن
mañy
(are some) who
يَسۡتَمِعُ
yastamiʻu
listen
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
to you
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
خَرَجُواْ
kharajoo
they depart
مِنۡ
min
from
عِندِكَ
ʻiñdika
you
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
were given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَ
ʻIlma
the knowledge
مَاذَا
maaẓaa
What
قَالَ
q̣aala
(has) he said
ءَانِفًاۚ
ʹaanifaa?
just now
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹikal
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) the ones
طَبَعَ
ṭabaʻal
Allah has set a seal
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has set a seal
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ
wattabaʻooo
and they follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ
ʹahwaaaʹahum.
their desires
١٦
47:17
وَٱلَّذِينَ
Wallaẓeenah
And those who
ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ
tadaw
accept guidance
زَادَهُمۡ
zaadahum
He increases them
هُدٗى
hudañw
(in) guidance
وَءَاتَىٰهُمۡ
waʹataahum
and gives them
تَقۡوَىٰهُمۡ
taq̣waahum.
their righteousness
١٧
47:18
فَهَلۡ
Fahal
Then do
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
they wait
إِلَّا
ʹillas
but
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
Saaʻata
(for) the Hour
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَأۡتِيَهُم
taʹtiyahum̃
it should come to them
بَغۡتَةٗۖ
bag̣tah?
suddenly
فَقَدۡ
Faq̣ad
But indeed
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
have come
أَشۡرَاطُهَاۚ
ʹashraaṭuhaa.
its indications
فَأَنَّىٰ
Faʹannaa
Then how
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
has come to them
ذِكۡرَىٰهُمۡ
ẓikraahum?
their reminder
١٨
47:19
فَٱعۡلَمۡ
Faʻlam
So know
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that [He]
لَآ
Laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillal
but
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
wastag̣fir
and ask forgiveness
لِذَنۢبِكَ
liẓambika
for your sin
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
wa-lil-Muʹmineena
and for the believing men
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِۗ
wal-Muʹminaat:
and the believing women
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مُتَقَلَّبَكُمۡ
mutaq̣allabakum
your movement
وَمَثۡوَىٰكُمۡ
wa-mas̤waakum.
and your resting places

47:20
وَيَقُولُ
Wa-yaq̣oolul
And say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe
لَوۡلَا
Law-laa
Why not
نُزِّلَتۡ
nuzzilat
has been revealed
سُورَةٞۖ
Soorah?
a Surah
فَإِذَآ
Faʹiẓaaa
But when
أُنزِلَتۡ
ʹuñzilat
is revealed
سُورَةٞ
Sooratum
a Surah
مُّحۡكَمَةٞ
Muḥkamatuñw
precise
وَذُكِرَ
Waẓukira
and is mentioned
فِيهَا
feehal
in it
ٱلۡقِتَالُ
q̣itaalu
the fighting
رَأَيۡتَ
raʹaytal
you see
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِم
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maraḍuñy
(is) a disease
يَنظُرُونَ
yañz̤̣uroona
looking
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilayka
at you
نَظَرَ
naz̤̣aral
a look
ٱلۡمَغۡشِيِّ
mag̣shiyyi
(of) one fainting
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
(of) one fainting
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ
mawt.
the death
فَأَوۡلَىٰ
Faʹawlaa
But more appropriate
لَهُمۡ
lahum!
for them
٢٠
47:21
طَاعَةٞ
Ṭaaʻatuñw
(Is) obedience
وَقَوۡلٞ
Waq̣awlum
and a word
مَّعۡرُوفٞۚ
maʻroof.
kind
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
And when
عَزَمَ
ʻazamal
(is) determined
ٱلۡأَمۡرُ
ʹamr.
the matter
فَلَوۡ
Falaw
then if
صَدَقُواْ
ṣadaq̣ul
they had been true
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(to) Allah
لَكَانَ
lakaana
surely it would have been
خَيۡرٗا
khayral
better
لَّهُمۡ
lahum.
for them
٢١
47:22
فَهَلۡ
Fahal
Then would
عَسَيۡتُمۡ
ʻasaytum
you perhaps
إِن
ʹiñ
if
تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ
tawallaytum
you are given authority
أَن
ʹañ
that
تُفۡسِدُواْ
tufsidoo
you cause corruption
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَتُقَطِّعُوٓاْ
wa-tuq̣aṭṭiʻooo
and cut off
أَرۡحَامَكُمۡ
ʹarḥaamakum?
your ties of kinship
٢٢
47:23
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹikal
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) the ones
لَعَنَهُمُ
laʻanahumul
Allah has cursed them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has cursed them
فَأَصَمَّهُمۡ
faʹaṣammahum
so He made them deaf
وَأَعۡمَىٰٓ
wa-ʹaʻmaaa
and blinded
أَبۡصَٰرَهُمۡ
ʹabṣaarahum.
their vision
٢٣
47:24
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
Then do not
يَتَدَبَّرُونَ
yatadabbaroonal
they ponder
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
Q̣ur-ʹaana
(over) the Quran
أَمۡ
ʹam
or
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
upon
قُلُوبٍ
q̣uloobin
(their) hearts
أَقۡفَالُهَآ
ʹaq̣faaluhaa?
(are) locks
٢٤
47:25
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeenar
those who
ٱرۡتَدُّواْ
taddoo
return
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
on
أَدۡبَٰرِهِم
ʹadbaarihim
their backs
مِّنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
what
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has) become clear
لَهُمُ
lahumul
to them
ٱلۡهُدَى
Hudash
(of) the guidance
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
Shaitaan
سَوَّلَ
sawwala
enticed
لَهُمۡ
lahum,
[for] them
وَأَمۡلَىٰ
wa-ʹamlaa
and prolonged hope
لَهُمۡ
lahum.
for them
٢٥
47:26
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because they
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
[they] said
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeena
to those who
كَرِهُواْ
karihoo
hate
مَا
maa-
what
نَزَّلَ
nazzalal
Allah has revealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah has revealed
سَنُطِيعُكُمۡ
sanuṭeeʻukum
We will obey you
فِي
fee
in
بَعۡضِ
baʻḍil
part
ٱلۡأَمۡرِۖ
ʹamr;
(of) the matter
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
But Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
إِسۡرَارَهُمۡ
ʹisraarahum.
their secrets
٢٦
47:27
فَكَيۡفَ
Fakayfa
Then how
إِذَا
ʹizaa
when
تَوَفَّتۡهُمُ
tawaffathumul
take them in death
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
malaaaʹikatu
the Angels
يَضۡرِبُونَ
yaḍriboona
striking
وُجُوهَهُمۡ
wujoohahum
their faces
وَأَدۡبَٰرَهُمۡ
wa-ʹadbaa-rahum?
and their backs
٢٧
47:28
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمُ
biʹannahumut
(is) because they
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
tabaʻoo
followed
مَآ
maaa
what
أَسۡخَطَ
ʹaskhaṭal
angered
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَكَرِهُواْ
wa-karihoo
and hated
رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ
riḍwaanahoo
His pleasure
فَأَحۡبَطَ
faʹaḥbaṭa
so He made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
٢٨
47:29
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or do
حَسِبَ
ḥasibal
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِم
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٌ
maraḍun
(is) a disease
أَن
ʹal
that
لَّن
lañy
never
يُخۡرِجَ
yukhrijal
will Allah bring forth
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
will Allah bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَهُمۡ
ʹaḍg̣aanahum?
their hatred
٢٩

وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
نَشَآءُ
nashaaaʹu
We willed
لَأَرَيۡنَٰكَهُمۡ
laʹaraynaakahum
surely We could show them to you
فَلَعَرَفۡتَهُم
falaʻaraftahum̃
and you would know them
بِسِيمَٰهُمۡۚ
biseemaahum:
by their marks
وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّهُمۡ
wa-lataʻrifan-nahum
but surely you will know them
فِي
fee
by
لَحۡنِ
laḥnil
(the) tone
ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ

(of their) speech
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalakum.
your deeds
٣٠
47:31
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ
Wa-lanabluwannakum
And surely We will test you
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
نَعۡلَمَ
naʻlamal
We make evident
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
mujaahideena
those who strive
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
waṣṣaabireena
and the patient ones
وَنَبۡلُوَاْ
wa-nabluwa
and We will test
أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ
ʹakhbaarakum.
your affairs

47:32
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wa-ṣaddoo
and turn away
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) way of Allah
وَشَآقُّواْ
wa-shaaaq̣q̣ur
and oppose
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoola
the Messenger
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has been) made clear
لَهُمُ
lahumul
to them
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
Hudaa
the guidance
لَن
lañy
never
يَضُرُّواْ
yaḍurrul
will they harm
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹaa:
(in) anything
وَسَيُحۡبِطُ
wa-sa-yuḥbiṭu
and He will make worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
٣٢
47:33
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
O you who believe
أَطِيعُواْ
ʹaṭeeʻul
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ʹaṭeeʻur
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoola
the Messenger
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تُبۡطِلُوٓاْ
tubṭilooo
make vain
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalakum!
your deeds
٣٣
47:34
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wa-ṣaddoo
and turn away
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
مَاتُواْ
maatoo
died
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كُفَّارٞ
kuffaaruñ
(were) disbelievers
فَلَن
falañy
never
يَغۡفِرَ
yag̣firal
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum.
them
٣٤
47:35
فَلَا
Falaa
So (do) not
تَهِنُواْ
tahinoo
weaken
وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ
wa-tadʻooo
and call
إِلَى
ʹilas
for
ٱلسَّلۡمِ
salmi
peace
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-ʹañtumul
while you
ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ
ʹaʻlawna
(are) superior
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
and Allah
مَعَكُمۡ
maʻakum
(is) with you
وَلَن
wa-lañy
and never
يَتِرَكُمۡ
yatirakum
will deprive you
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalakum.
(of) your deeds
٣٥
47:36
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamal
Only
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
ḥayaatud
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
لَعِبٞ
laʻibuñw
(is) play
وَلَهۡوٞۚ
walahw:
and amusement
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
And if
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tuʹminoo
you believe
وَتَتَّقُواْ
wa-tattaq̣oo
and fear (Allah)
يُؤۡتِكُمۡ
yuʹtikum
He will give you
أُجُورَكُمۡ
ʹujoorakum
your rewards
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمۡ
yasʹalkum
will ask you
أَمۡوَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹamwaalakum.
(for) your wealth
٣٦
47:37
إِن
ʹIñy
If
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا
yasʹalkumoohaa
He were to ask you for it
فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ
fayuḥfikum
and press you
تَبۡخَلُواْ
tabkhaloo
you will withhold
وَيُخۡرِجۡ
wa-yukhrij
and He will bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
ʹaḍg̣aanakum.
your hatred
٣٧
47:38
هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ
Haaaʹañtum
Here you are
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
تُدۡعَوۡنَ
tudʻawna
called
لِتُنفِقُواْ
lituñfiq̣oo
to spend
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laah:
(of) Allah
فَمِنكُم
famiñkum
but among you
مَّن
mañy
(are some) who
يَبۡخَلُۖ
yabkhal
withhold
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
and whoever
يَبۡخَلۡ
yabkhal
withholds
فَإِنَّمَا
faʹinnamaa
then only
يَبۡخَلُ
yabkhalu
he withholds
عَن
ʻan
from
نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ
nafsih.
himself
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahul
But Allah
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
G̣aniyyu
(is) Free of need
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-ʹañtumul
while you
ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ
Fuq̣araaaʹ.
(are) the needy
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
tatawallaw
you turn away
يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ
yastabdil
He will replace you
قَوۡمًا
q̣awman
(with) a people
غَيۡرَكُمۡ
g̣ayrakum
other than you
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
لَا
laa-
not
يَكُونُوٓاْ
yakoonooo
they will be
أَمۡثَٰلَكُم
ʹams̤aalakum!
(the) likes of you
٣٨
